One of my favorite episodes. The first time we see someone get bit and live. Shoutout to Rick Grimes for the quick thinking. I really love Ricks father/son relationship with Hershel and every leader like Rick needs a right hand man like Daryl. Rick killing that prisoner is a top 5 moment of his honestly.

That moment between Hershel and Rick One of those silent sweet moments that pulls the heartstrings.

This episode made me realize how done Rick was with nonsense Rick gave the prison leader Tomas a warning and afterwards made good on his threat Side note this episode also showed me that Daryl has now become Rick’s new right hand man the second Rick got tackled by that zombie Daryl was the first to save him.

Even though it is a zombie apocalypse I think maybe they could have divorced if the world never fell apart especially since Lori herself didn’t know if she still loved Rick. The zombie apocalypse is like duck tape holding a marriage together that was already on the rocks.

I really love how Rick and Lori both stepped in immediately to save Hershel’s life I love how close they’ve gotten to him since Carl got shot and after all the drama that happened Hershel himself has come such a long way as a character I actually really like how he takes care of both Rick and Lori Even though they’re having problems you can tell he’s not taking sides and he’s treating them equally well and with love Hershel is great and I love him :D

I'm sorry, but Lori was right to get on Carl about clearing the infirmary. Taking initiative and getting needed medical supplies is amazing and really speaks to Carl's skills, but it was very stupid and reckless for him to go by himself AND not tell anybody. Like she said, Hershel was with the group and still got bit, the least Carl could've done was told them his plan so they'd know what happened to him and taken Carol or Glenn with him for back-up. And imo disrespecting your parents will never be okay, no matter how much the world falls apart. But Carl is in his mentality of, on top of the mental trauma this world has created for him, wanting to imitate his father's animosity for his mother, which is just sad to see. And I say this with love as he's a top 3 character for me 😭 And Rick is top 2 but boy do I have OPINIONS on him this season.

R.I.P. Tiny. I really liked the lil bit I knew of him. I like Axle and Oscar. Tomas was a piece of shit and Andrew his bitch was no better. Tomas got what he deserves, lie he said shit happens. Carl is a lil badass 😂 he went out by himself didn’t wreck a car or anything and got supplies. Just like I thought Lori is over due. I love Rick and Hershel’s relationship. They’re like father and son now.

Rick and Lori were probably headed for divorce before the apocalypse, so i feel like everything that happened post apocalypse was just a continuation of the decline of their marriage. I don't think that Rick can't forgive her in this episode, I think he's just not in love with her anymore. He loves her, cares for her, and she's family, but he's not in love, and like Lori said it's not like they can get divorced, so they're both trying to figure out how to move forward. There's barely any time to process your feelings because survival is an ever present concern taking up all their energy and focus.
