Martin as an M-type character, and David as the typical real-life MI-agent. The type that leaves important top-secret documents on trains (or laptops in hotel lobbys) in sketches from the short-lived, one-series-only sketch show 'Bruiser' (2000) starring Olivia Colman, Martin Freeman, Matt Holness, Charlotte Hudson, David Mitchell and Robert Webb.
Oh, isn't it cute? John is playing Mycroft for a day. Complete with brolly. =D

Well he's probably not one of the best actors of his generation but he's not bad and he certainly can act. This was "just" Bruiser, no some shakespearian role.

@@theylivewesleep.5139 I would say he was one of the very few good things about the Hobbit Trilogy and he was very good in the first 2 episodes of Sherlock and he was absolutely brilliant in "Cargo".
