What a thoughtful, powerful comment. I agree. I think Suga was attracted to seek out Jin 4 advice bc Jin def gives off the aura that he will keep confidences. U get that... when in public he nvr talks poorly of anyone. And when criticism is mentioned, he spins it to the positive side. Thats def 1 thing I luv abt all the hyungs - Suga, Jhope, Jin, RM - they are super closed-mouthed, steadfast, solid, good leaders. RM is such a good leader. Nothing but mad ❤ & respect for BTS.

I agree. Jins very thoughtful and damn intelligent person. If you look back, he's the one person who has elegantly and beautifully delivered hard truth in his speeches and lives. He called out the industry on manipulating numbers, he talked about the almost breakup, he talked about how they were not making money on a free/discounted concert they held. He delivers one-liners that make up all think, just like in harry Potter books that he loves.

As someone who's been army since 2015 i've always found him to be someone who usually talks a lot. He just went through hard times and for the stone reincarnation joke at that time, they were all very very tired constantly. Yoongi was mostly sleepy and grumpy sometimes, it just became a running joke when they got even busier, they probably had some insomnia too :( But he always said he always got along very well with older people when he chatted, he has always been an outstanding cm 👌 him and Jin have a real talent for it. But it is undeniable that today's Yoongi has become much better, even the members say it 💜 (it makes me so happy)

It’s great that yoongi’s communication skills are being highlighted throughout this show and more people are getting to see this side of him. I’m sure he has also improved a lot over the years as he has grown as a person and artist but it’s important to point out that yoongi has always been eloquent and well spoken. Often taking initiative in leading conversations during interviews or variety/radio shows, he has always been outspoken when he wants to be and often helped take a bit of the burden off namjoon’s shoulders esp during their rookie days. The members also often point out his great mc skills as seen in a lot of run episodes as well as his radio hosting and interviewing skills during his honey fm days. I’ve seen some armys being surprised when suchwita was announced saying he was the last person they expected to have a show like this which is crazy bc i would’ve put him #1 as the member to most likely have a talk show if you asked me before suchwita was a thing Also piggybacking off the other reply under here, the joke is about him being reborn as a stone in his next life not being a stone in his past life. That’s why tae said “yoongi you said you want to be a stone in your next life. Don’t worry. I’ll carry you with me and bring you to beautiful places”. 🥹 The same way the reason why yoongi jokes about being sleepy and feeling lethargic all the time is bc he’s always working hard and staying up all night working on music, the joke about wanting to be reborn as a stone is him expressing how tired he is esp with their busy schedule and lack of sleep, it has nothing to do with his communication skills or lack thereof

That stone joke was a reference to how much he doesn't like moving and would like to stay still only. He has always been a great speaker and communicator. But he does grew more eloquent and mature as time passed by.

Thanks for saying this, I recently found this channel and I went through so many videos just to see if they talk about Seokjin other than "funny guy" "older brother" but sadly did not. I understand initial reaction of seeing him as funny guy but if after watching so many interactions someone still sees him as funny brother, then I can't trust their judgements.

Everything I say I could say is not a criticism of your analysis, but in actual fact I realise it is in a way and I apologise if it offends you. If you had not realised by reading the posts of this clip is that I am far from alone with my feelings. Judging on whose comments received a heart from you has helped me realise that what I am saying is unfortunately true. If the comment just praised Yoongi or praised him significantly it had a heart even though so many great comments were made. You only gave a couple of hearts to comments not over praising Jin, which I feel is very telling. You say that you went in depth in your Patreon and you are aware he can have more depth yet you failed to bring any of those comments out into your You Tube, which is the site with more viewership! Why when you go into so much depth about the other members did you not share these thoughts with your you tube viewers. Whether you realise it or not this clip came across as superficial in your analysis of this beloved member, and your constant high praises of the other members compared to your usual indifferent reaction to Jin makes us as BTS and Jin’s fans wonder if you consider him less important in the group! What I also wonder is that on his return in June when he will be the only member with fresh content, will you continue in the same vein. If you are going to analyse him and tell us he has matured in the military and you see a changes in him it will come across as insincere., as everyone who know him well have seen past his persona and witnessed his maturity. Yes he will have changed it would be impossible not to, but perhaps you should take this time until his discharge to review many of Jin’s clips to realise that unlike yourself most people find him an incredible human being and not just the funny guy persona he uses to make his members relax. I sincerely hope that any more analysis of Jin in the future you go into as much depth in your analysis as you do with the others Members for your You Tube viewership. I think during this time of his absence many of us have reviewed BTS content including Jin’s vast content over and over and which I think has helped us to understand then and him even more, maybe you should as well. I always watched your content but must admit I stopped after being so disappointed in this clip because I suppose it made me doubt you as an analyst. I will however watch any content you put out on Jin in the future again with curiosity. I apologise if you see this as negative but as an analyst I am sure you take everything on board and evaluate such comments. I am a retired nurse with higher education and years of experience in communicating with people of all ages and ethnicities and personalities and though I am not an expert like yourself I am a fairly good at seeing through people’s character and the way they communicate. I say this so that you do not I think of me as some obsessed solo fan. I would of course be writing a similar post if it was any member of BTS I thought you seemed indifferent to. As I see it perception is something that belongs to the beholder and as the many posts here reflect it is how we see it. As always I wish you all the best with your channel and good health and apologise once again if you feel this is too negative but I am only stating what I and many have perceived.

I’m pretty sure the story of Jin talking Yoongi down from suicide is fake but with a seed of truth in that we know Yoongi has been on and off very depressed over the years and I have no doubts that he’s talked with Jin about it 💜

What wonderful insight into this wonderful young man and as I have stated in my own post those of us who have known him longer have seen this in him and appreciate him so much more, unfortunately it takes some people a lot longer to get to know the real Jin, whilst in my mind Jin could probably figure them out in a flash!

Yeah even Jimin said this in their 2018 vlive together, he revealed that Jin was actually someone hard to approach off camera at first and he was quiet and serious but warmed up and became more carefree later. Jin puts in an effort to make people happy by going against his quieter/more shy side, as he said- making others happy in return makes him happy so he keeps things light in public for that reason, but in actuality he's extremely intelligent and as Yoongi said, highly educated- and he has a large EQ as well, people just dont associate 'jokeful behavior' with those qualities for some reason, more people need to learn from Jin tbh

I would say, Jin is very subtle about it. He does give his insight and thoughts about it but he does it so casually. I would argue that rather than having deep discussions or opinions, he would pose questions and examples that allow them to come to their own conclusions. He doesn't want to impose his way of thinking as he was always wary of the influence he can have on the younger members. One of the books that he read and enjoyed gives a glimpse about him: Miracles of the Namiya General Store.

@jinhit0604 I agree completely! I hope it didn't seem like I was being critical. Jin is very good at giving others space to share and develop their own conclusions, but I think he has a lot of depth, and sometimes I'm curious to hear more from him. I love any conversation, like this one, where he and his ideas are able to be the focus, and I felt that Yoongi did a great job making him feel comfortable.

His stage persona is someone that can deliver humor well and have a reliable presence to the team. The closest to him sharing his thoughts would be the Festa dinners or in the bon voyage moments or private 1-1 conversation with members.

Yes, I think you are right that Suga has always been confident. Though to me, it feels like a different brand of confidence now. It seems that he's always stood up & set boundaries for himself and confidently spoke his mind, however, I do think he just has a greater, more positive sense of self now where he exudes a different type of confidence (like I love myself type of confidence) -- and yes -- definitely more at peace now.

I think your comment was a bit unnecessarily aggressive. I try to respect these guys and do the best I can. I never said Jin isn’t deep nor did I say he doesn’t have the ability to. I just think he chooses not to go there less than the other guys when they’re having conversations with each other. I’ve also listened to quite a lot of BTS’ (and Jin’s) music on my Patreon page.

You say he doesnt go "there" but hes the one who has the guts to speak publicly on topics like disbandment or the drama with their enlistment etc. but because he has a different communication style or doesn't use purple prose on his speech/is more blunt you keep saying the same things... I dont wanna be agressive but i feel like you see him too one dimensional...I wish youd react to solo jin content like the vlive i mentioned previously, his maple story series, his alcohol making show or the bangtan bombs of him working on his solo the astronaut or even a recent bangtan bomb of him attending movie premieres solo to see other sides of him

Finally, one of the best comment about this person reaction to Jin. I have been watched all his contents about BTS and he has been talking about other members but didn't do deep into about Jin. He judged Jin as a character who have been always happy or maybe a joker guy who jokes around people and isn't serious in the conversation with the members😂 he praises RM, Suga a lot and about Jin ...nah... Like he named BTS reaction and what about Jin???Life isn't all sunshine and rainbows 😆 Although he has bias, reaction should be objective to learn for something

@@maxpbeaumont Max, I appreciate that you think this is an aggressive comment but I see it more as a frustrated comment. There are so many moments of Jin being quite deep in conversations with the guys in their shows like ‘Bon Voyage’ and ‘In the Soop’, less formal environments and often on award shows on serious topics which he is always eloquent. In his solo projects like the ‘Astronaut session where he talks about the military enlistment the thing company asked him not to talk about, but Jin felt it was important for Army to know. He expressed in detail his feelings about it all. In his other promotion for ‘Astronaut’ his series of his Traditional Alcohol making show , it shows him in the fun light hearted moments as well as serious and perhaps we see a more realistic version of him. He is more extroverted when slightly intoxicated. If you watch these shows not necessarily review them you may get more of an insight into him. Many people are making comments on how wonderful he is and how deep and intelligent and even the things he has done for BTS as a team and members individually, but you don’t necessarily flag those unless they mention Yoongi, or very few so you can not blame people for thinking the way this author does as frankly I feel that way too. I knew Jin would try to keep this interview light and Yoongi try and deepen it but Yoongi knew how far to go. All the members say they have deep and serious talks with Jin off camera, but Jin is a private person and once the cameras are on to him it’s entertainment and that means lightness! My advice would be for you to seriously read what the people who watched your programme commented about Jin again and perhaps wonder why so many can see these things in Jin that you can’t or can’t share for some reason. There is one thing Army hates is seeing one of the seven being less thought off then the others, whether it is true or not, and your comments on Jin are always basically the same. He is the funny guy, likes to keep things light, if he teases you he is showing you love, maybe they are all true but there is so much more to him than that. This is what this author is frustrated about, it’s that you cannot see it or if you do you do not say anything different. At the same time you will wax lyrically about any of the other six members. People notice you see. I hope you do not get too cross at such comments as this author’s as Army gets frustrated often. I don’t mean any of this to be critical but helpful, my personal opinion and you can take it or leave and I am obviously not alone judging by the comments, is you have a weak area in regards to Jin. If you choose not to acknowledge and address as you may feel that you don’t or may choose to just save those thoughts to your Patreons, then that’s fine also but comments like this will become more common. Remember next year he will be your only source of BTS content for a while. Beginning of next year will be a bit sad for all of us. Let’s hope Hybe has plenty of content stored up for us.
