Jessie and Alyssa. Love your videos. Am a retired contractor/superintendent and by watching your videos it's easy to tell your commitment to do this project it authentic. These idiots who criticize your work or the way your choosing to work are fricken pathetic. Low life people who haven't got a clue what real work is all about. As a union carpenter I've been around concrete all my life and can easily see you guys are working your tail off trying to get this right and should be given a bunch of atta boys and atta girls for your effort. Building is not easy and these people who criticize on your channel I hope your not paying much attention to. Keep up the good work. Will be watching you all the way.

Jesse, you found a very good in Liteform with great customer service. I am a buyer for a major oilfield supply company and I actually know of a company that went out of business because of voice mail and not accepting phone calls. They also were not up to speed at the time with emails. I am so proud of both of you for pulling this pour off and Alyssa still getting videos out daily. That had to be a herculean all by itself. You two deserve a break for a day. Best Regards.

I know that by now you probably have the subfloor on this wall etc etc. But, I wanted to express my thanks for the excruciating amount of time you folks must have sacrificed just to share this build with us... I have binged watched today (it's after 2:00 am here in Ontario Canada. :-) ) I was so fascinated with the process of this wall build! I have said for years, to my wife and to my sons (2 of them have been builders) that if I ever get the chance to build our own home, I want this kind of wall. So, yeah, super fascinating, for me. Thank you, again, for all that effort to bring this to us. Congratulations on shaping your dreams, from the earth itself, to the footing, and now the walls, and soon the floor, then the top floor... Awesome videos to follow along with!

Yup and definitely the last ICF Pour on KZfaq during a solar eclipse! Well at least for the next couple hundred years!? But it was absolutely worth the wait. Now there is absolutely NO WAY back! But hey I wiash you guys all the luck and success on this planet! Keep up the good work! Oh one last question... Remember back at the beginning when you weren't that handy with the Makita Drill and look at you now!? Just like the professionals!! Congrats!

That they can do this and make a video at the same time! I built myself a studio shed and started to video the progress and it slowed me down so much, that I just said "forget it." Makes one appreciate all the KZfaq videos on building a house, changing a headlight or how to adjust a bicycle seat. Jesse and Alyssa, thanks and hope it all works out.

Congratulations and Thank you Alyssa and Jesse, We are designing our new home in Baja and choosing construction materials, and your videos have been invaluable for us to make really hard decisions in materials for a layman. The thing I like best about ICF forms is that the form is the insulation and that's a very smart decision.

Im a concrete contractor and have to give you two props. Very good job. My biggest fear would have been blow outs. Im surprised at how well those styrofoam forms held together so well. The hydrostatic pressure of concrete is immense. When we pour concrete walls we have so many kickers and supports to make sure we don't get any blow outs. Good job with all your set up and prep work along with double, triple checking your elevations with the laser. Once the concrete is placed, thats it! Great job guys

I don't often comment on videos, not even the cute dog and cat ones, but I had to stop for a minute and say that I love seeing you guys progressing, especially on a major mile stone like this was. I am a pretty self sufficient guy myself, big DIY'er, Volunteer EMT and Firefighter in my local community and from my perspective I recognize the same fearlessness to try and do things in you both, kudos and keep moving forward doing what you know you can do and trying out the things which you are pretty sure that you can do too!

for those who don't get why the total eclipse was such a big deal, if you weren't in the path of totality, and you didn't take your shades off to see the sun go BLACK with your own eyes, you will never understand it. the best i can describe is it is like being teleported to an alien planet. when it goes dark, your brain tells you something is very wrong, and the stars come out, and the sun turns into a perfectly black hole in the sky. you just have to see it to get it. if you weren't in the path, like these guys, its just kind of interesting. shadows get a bit sharper, and it gets a bit darker, and thats all. but in the path, it is a million times more awe inspiring

I am amazed at what you guys have done. I constructed a large retaining wall foundation and I used the old steel framed wood panels. 8 tons of formwork and much steelwork to line it up and brace it all. The method you have used is amazing, I just find it hard to believe you didn't have a blow out. That is a great product and does not have the gravity problems. Fantastic job, straight and level. Thanks. regards, Bill, Tasmania, Australia.
