In this video, I buy a dodge to put the free dodge dakota's engine into, then I remove the blown engine out of it.

I recently purchased a '97 Chevy Express 1500 Conversion van from an old couple up in north GA (I too live in GA) and even though I'm accustomed to mint frames because south I still can't get over how clean the frame on this 24 year old Chevy is.

I am certain what we're presented with here is so-called ITC, Instrumental Trans-dimensional Communication, a well-described phenomenon within the paranormal community. Visual manifestations of spirit, the windshield acting as a crystal ball does when used for scrying. ITC occurs in abstract materials, either spontaneously or when spirits are summoned, to bring messages to the living. There's spirits all around us at an unconscious level; sometimes a portal opens up, and ancestors show themselves, this way obtaining some sort of 'life', in this case a future presence on line, a sort of 'eternal life'. We need to realize that the Internet is in fact a dimension in itself, a parallel non-physical part of reality, just as the afterlife. Actually there is an infinite number of dimensions, all real if surrounded with emotional, spiritual energy. The sky is also a dimension in itself, and spirits and Gods can manifest as anything, orbs, faces and figures or sounds. Mirrors, camera lenses or bodies of water can act as tunnels, portals, opening up to the spiritual unconscious realm, the afterlife. Please check out my detailed paranormal analysis, above. Thank you for your comment from Spiritual medium and Asatru shaman The Völve, island of Als, Denmark

I would definitely check your alignment dowels for position and where they stayed on each engine or trans. I would definitely keep the cats, transmission and transfer case from the donor truck. Chances are it's all still good. The oil pans on those trucks like to rot out on the engine and the transmission

The 3.7/4.7L engines aren't the same as the older 3.9/5.2/5.9L engines at all. Those are all "LA"-based engines that are all super-reliable. The newer engines are more powerful but they traded durability for power. They are designed much like a Ford 4.6L, with overhead cams and long timing chains. Heck, I remember when 5.2L and 5.9L Mopar V8s were simply called 318 and 360...lol.

You should get one of those harbor freight winches, i got the smallest $40 one and was able to load an 89 vw cabriolet onto my trailer, the car didn't have front wheels or suspension, i just put a jack up front and pulled it onto the trailer with the winch. I secured the winch on the trailer with ratcheting straps, that little winch paid itself that one time, i love that it has a wireless remote.

*i'm glad you know that there is a difference in coolants. i don't know how many "professional" "mechanics" i've argued with about them not using the proper coolant and some just didn't realize the difference until i told them because they were too old school and just thought coolant was green regardless. but some to this day argue that there is no difference between dexcool and regular green coolant. i tell those people "i guess you can fix cars but you can't fix your stupid, not even with duct tape". and i just leave it there*

4.7 gets a bad rep, because people expect it to act like an old Mopar engine. It's not. You just have to know how to take care of them like you would a modern engine. Some "old school" people don't seem to understand this, and crap all over them. Here's what you need to know... 1. It's a SOHC with a timing chain, so it needs regular oil changes with the correct weight (light) synthetic oil. Don't worry about the oil pressure gauge at idle too much. Adding a catch can will drastically reduce the sludge build up too. You will need to change the timing set around 150k, or it will fail. 2. The 4.7 has aluminum heads and a cast iron block, so it naturally wants to corrode inside the coolant passages. You need to flush often, and with the correct coolant (HOAT). Make sure you drain the block using the two bolts by the freeze plugs, or you won't get all the old coolant out. If you neglect the cooling system you will overheat the heads and the valve seats will pop out. 3. There is no fuel filter, and the older ones weren't designed to run on ethanol fuels. The injectors are prone to clogging. Run a little fuel Injector cleaner/upper cylinder lubricant in every tank. I recommend Lucas in the clear bottle, at half strength. You would be surprised how much better a high mileage 4.7 runs after a few tanks. Personally I like the 4.7. They are light and make good power for their size. Look at the forums. These engines can go 250k plus, but you have to be good about maintenance. Good luck!

If you put green coolant in an engine that was running red coolant, or vice-versa, it will turn into jelly like you found. The two coolants do react together like that, so even if you've thoroughly purged the cooling system with fresh water before performing the coolant change this can still happen. As you've said, the jelly can block coolant passages and lead to severe overheating in the areas with the blocked passages that will end up ruining the engine. Overall, it's best to stick with the type of coolant that was the original fill for that engine or you risk ending up trashing it and, potentially, junking your vehicle or, at least, getting a big bill for a replacement engine...

The engine blew up simply because that's what 3.7, 4.7 and 5.7 liter Mopar engines do. The same genius that designed the undersize oil returns and poor crankcase ventilation system on the 2.7L V6 evidently did the same thing to at least the 3.7/4.7L versions because they suffer the same problems: sludge, worn timing chains and spun bearings. Add to that loose valve seats in all three truck engines that cause the rocker arms to fall off and you have ample motivation to sell the red truck as soon as you get it running good. I suggest selling something out of your fleet and buying a car trailer. U-haul is a joke. Just because you get a "reservation" through their system does not mean you'll actually get the equipment at the designated time, place, or...at all! The fine print makes it clear that you are basically reserving a place in line to get equipment...that's it. I've used those b*stards plenty and it's always a hassle. There have been places where the "person that does U-haul" wasn't there at the moment or didn't know how to do reservations or couldn't hook equipment up. If I hauled more than one car a year I would have my own trailer. Add a power winch to that suggestion and not one of those for 4-wheelers. You have a 4wd truck so with a good trailer and a good winch you shouldn't be stopped by anything.

What! You drove down in the Pontiac Vibe? Is your sister not around, or do you have to teach her to drive a stick shift, or was your generous offer of a reliable car refused? 8-)) I have one sister who drives a "standard", she lived in France where you have to learn it, and the other never did learn to drive a stick.
