Cabin inspection on board (what to be carefull of) checks needed to be done

2 жыл бұрынOn this episode I will be performing a cabin inspection on the accommodation department.
The reason of performing this inspection is to rest assure that my vessel is in absolute good order and without any possible difficiencies which can result on her detention but most importantly is to be sure that nothing can go wrong at sea, such as Fire, electrocution, slip, flooding, etc.
So my self and the Chief Officer will carry out the inspection in these cabins and the crew members will be informed of any rectifications required or even if something addtional is required then we will try to find a sollution.
I usually conduct it every week mostly on a Saturday afternoon, giving enough time for all to be prepared :)
At the end of the day what I want is that my crew feels confident and Happy sailing with me.

yes, captain always tell us during dinner time that tomorrow will be ur cabin inspection, prepare yourself. If found not satisfactory, 50$ fine

Yes Captain,They're satisfied as always. I do like the process..And even theres no inspection, it is our responsibility to be Clean and tidy All the Time.there is a Inspection or None..Thanks a Lot for this video Captain!

Hi Nick, I have just retired after 25 years as Master the last 16 years trading to Australia every couple of weeks. We have never had to collect plants down there. Quite surprised by this. Thanks for the video, very useful in my new job teaching new cadets!

Hey Captain noticed you ask the apprentice officer how often he shaves. Is it mandatory to be clean shaven for LNG tankers or just GASLOG policy.

Captains Cabin is always inspected by authorities specially in Africa if you are a seaman you know what I mean
