CABIN TRANSFORMATION on our Abandoned Land

In 2020 we bought a piece of abandoned land in the mountains in Spain. We're building an off grid tiny house and will soon begin a stone barn renovation project too, to move to the countryside and start our off grid life. We'll practice regenerative agriculture to bring the abandoned land back to life, and start a permaculture food forest and veggie garden to grow our own food.
Our cabin is really starting to take shape now, as we complete the main build by installing the ceiling and the floor inside our light steel frame construction. Soon we'll start the tiny house interior build, with a kitchen sleeping platform and multi-functional storage and seating space, inspired by vanlife designs.

If nothing else, you certainly have composting material to really get that going. Permaculture is one of the most comprehensive ways of living I have ever seen, so practical yet so involved in planning, working with nature instead of trying to control it. Bonus, NO chemicals! Great to have someone local too, who you can ask questions, talk to, figure out things you need. Congratulations 🎉.

It's great to see your build coming along so nicely. It is of a very high standard and I am looking forward to seeing the fit out of the inside. I hope the trees do well as they will look great as they grow and mature as well as providing welcome shade in the summers.

you could tack on some really thin low cost plywood over the osb board ....then those joints would sand totaly smooth really easy . just a thought 🙂 , another nice little vid , keep going , your both doing great 🙂👍👍

Thanks a lot. Yes we’re definitely going to be trying different permaculture principles across the land. Geoff Lawton was the reason we wanted some dry land

Geoff Lawton, Dr Elaine Ingham, both are excellent resources for bringing the land back to where it once was, before chemicals, ploughing up everything, and taking the nutrients out without putting some back. Congratulations on your permaculture course!

I love all these people saying it took ages it was built properly to last that takes time when it's not your full time occupation feel free to put your builds up for us to see I doubt it

Que tipo de cepillo? De hierro para almoradora angular? O papel lija como un cepilla?

@@SmithsdaleFarm no Un cepillo de madera para rebajar la madera, es como una cuchilla insertada en un trozo de madera, también los hay eléctricos, es una herramienta de carpintero pero la puedes comprar en cualquier ferreteria
