Hi Mak, I’m really glad that I found your channel. I’ve been experiencing pain in my hip and my doctor has suggested that I get an MRI with a dye injection to check for a labral tear. However, I’m not too keen on the idea of having such an MRI. Instead, I’m thinking of postponing the scan for a while and trying out your exercises first. I appreciate your insight about the connection between our brain and body. I wanted to find some information because after visiting the doctor, I didn’t receive any guidance regarding what movements I could do while experiencing pain. I thought that I would have to sit on my sofa for the next six weeks, which would make me miserable. Normally, I walk 3-5 miles and do dance exercises, but I suppose that’s not a good idea right now.

Hey there! Glad you found my channel too. Yes the brain and body connection is a very important concept to digest and I wish I had this information when the doc told me to get an MRI. I have a bunch of other videos on this topic so definitely check them out!

@@MaksReznik I have a good understanding of the connection between the brain and the body. The threat response from brain to body makes total sense. How would I handle walking? I typically walk 3-5 miles daily, but I feel uncomfortable walking right now. I haven’t scheduled PT yet and am unsure if I want to. I feel like I receive better help from you and others here. I am uncertain about what activities to avoid while recovering from this hip pain. Do you have any videos or information about what should be avoided during healing? Thank you so much for all the helpful information and for the work that you do. I genuinely appreciate it.

I'm in love with your channel. I agree 200% with you. Till I have had a CT/X-ray and said those images, my pain wasn't that worse - my psychological and anxiety work so hard to make feel sicker - and Im in the way to work this out, cause I was living normally doing exercises with labrum tear till see those images diagnosed.

I tried 2 online hip pain courses (Precision Movement Hip pain solution & Upright health FAI Fix). Neither have done much. Now I'm very skeptical about this industry. What's different about your approach?

I tried both of those years ago also before creating my program. My approach is different for two reasons: (1) it addresses the brain's role in chronic hip pain and (2) it focuses on bringing balance and function to the WHOLE body rather than just the hip that hurts.
