Our Gurus tried so hard to abolish the caste system because we are all EQUAL in Gods eyes. If you treat it like a friendship then it's okay I guess. In Sikhi, we acknowledge that these emotions are going to happen especially at a young age so you need to make sure you're not attached to that person or doing any pre marital things. Best advice would be to treat it like a friendship, then at the right age, tell your parents, get engaged and then married :)

According to the Sikh Rehat Maryada, it is a sin. If you accept the Maryada or not is your choice.

I don't know if it is a "sin" but it is definitely not allowed in sikhi. Guru Gobind Singh Ji in his 52 hukams have explicitly said so. So, one can't have a "Sikh marriage" in the eyes of guru.

Eh veer , 1) Your thoughts here assume that all people marry with lust on their mind. That might be the case for some but to put everyone in one category to prove something as wrong is just wrong in itself 2)The consent of parents is not a criteria. Its the other way around. The social norm of parents finding partner for their children is assuming that parents are good, sikhs following sikhi. Would you say the same.... to lets assume ....a case where religious child born to alcoholic father and ignorant mother? No! So, lets not make it a norm. 3) Yes, dating is wrong acc to sikhi, but bhai jagraj ji here talked more about selection of partner leading to direct marriage more than an individual forming a "out of marriage"relationship. 4) I have no idea where Bhai Gurdas said any such thing....if you could provide a reference, that would be much more responsible and expected from a Sikh.
