February 2022 Stage IV Non Small Cell Lung Cancer (spreading to Brain, and other parts of lung)
Gene Mutation EGFR with Exon 20 Insertion
TREATMENTS (Received or currently Receiving
2021: 8 Rounds of Chemotherapy (Carboplatin and Paclitaxel) with 30 concurrent radiation treatments to chest and lung
Failed Immunotherapy directly after Chemo and Radiation (Durvalumab, 1 round)
2022: Current Chemo Plan; ongoing
6 rounds of Chemotherapy (Carboplatin, Alimta, and Avastin)
Targeted Brain Radiation:
3 Rounds completed

The purpose of my channel is to document my cancer journey to look back on, and/or help anyone else going through anything similar. It is also to potentially help loved ones supporting those who are in this fight as well. My main goal is to have footage of this journey for my husband and children to look back on. I originally created this channel as a sort of video diary for my family.

I can hear that you are struggling for breath here Jenny I'm talking to you but I know that you are on a higher realm overlooking us all with love but it's clear that even at this stage you are struggling for breath and I miss you so much I think the whole world misses you I think everybody that has watched your videos misses you so much for all the love you have created not only on KZfaq but in the world you have brought all of us cancer survivors and cancer patients together in a loving unity and I miss you and I cry I don't know why I cry so much but I think it's because you're like a symbol of hope and fighting spirit for all the suffering of cancer with such dignity and love for everything and everyone. I was doing targeted radiation therapy and chemotherapy as well during this time! It sucks, cancer sucks... Thinking of y'all and so glad these videos were made... May the holy spirit be with y'all mightly, comforting your minds, thoughts, hearts, souls and your spirits... Giving you the physical strength, endurance, hope, a mental strength that soothes and protects your very inner beings to the outer flesh body. Thinking of y'all! Praise God for His faithfulness! May He wrap His arms around your hearts and may His angels assigned to your lives accomplish all that they are sent to do. While life here on earth, making it to our eternal afterlife, where every tear will be wiped away forever...

Kyle, I’m so sorry that you lost your beautiful wife. 😢 I’ve watched Jenny since August and I’ve prayed that the cancer would go away miraculously. It was not to be. I’ve been going through some losses in my life this summer and watching you and Jenny has made me feel less alone. You’ve been there and laughing and loving, crying and praying. I too miss you Jenny but know that you are an Angel now!! Please visit my sister Maggie and my precious Lexy girl. They were my best friends and I’ve lost them. I shared with Jenny that an acquaintance was diagnosed with brain cancer in the 1990s, and is still alive and well...and is now a grandmother! Yes, medical science is so advanced, it's amazing.

Karen Steele. That's simply not true; the outcomes for breast cancer are MUCH better than they were 35 years ago. For one thing, there was no effective treatment 35 years ago for Her 2 positive breast cancer. Now there is (Herceptin and Perjeta).

That dessert did look epic. Great presentation! There’s no excuse for charging an arm and a leg for a meal that’s not amazing. Restaurant prices are high enough as it is to not have a wonderful experience with great food. I would not go back to a place that didn’t have delicious food, good service or decent prices. Yes, there are so many advances. My mom died in 1984 with lung cancer…she smoked for 40 years…she had the “hard” chemo and radiation….she died 5 months and 22 days from diagnosis. Over the last 38 years, I can’t tell you the number of times I have said, “Oh, if only they had had that treatment for my mom”. I miss her so much …..and your sweet children will not have to be missing you for at least 75 or 80 years because YOU are going to kick cancer’s butt off the planet! You go, Girl!

So many things have changed for the better. I had a diagnosis of breast cancer almost 15 years ago. Highly aggressive and did not land in breast for estrogen. That meant it could also be in other places. Surgery and radiation would not be enough. I had the surgery and it had not spread from that place but unknown if it was other places so I had to do 4 mos. of chemo, 6 weeks of radiation and the life saver was a new drug called Herceptin. I had to have that for one year, infused same as cancer drugs. I lost hair and had to wear a wig to my youngest son's wedding. I was there, the wig did not matter. You are so upbeat and so is your husband. You will get through this. Your braver then you think. Sending love and prayers your way.

I’m glad that you are not allowing cancer to win this battle. Please remind yourself that there might be some bad days, but call them bumps in the road because you leave them behind. Choose happy all of the time, stay positive, and love like you have never loved each before. You are such a lovely couple and family. Be brave and fight for your littles they are adorable! I try to remember everything I fought for and believe me my list was long, there are some things I have to do. I love love love your cute little dresses! So glad your trip was fun. I think of you guys often and love it when I see a KZfaq post.

I hear you about the vegan products. I'm not a vegan per say in that I do eat meat but very rarely. The latest vegan choices are delicious though and have come a long way in just a few years. God bless you. Enjoy making memories! Your hubby is very patient. I was alone through my cancer process, not literally but def figuratively. You are blessed by him. Cirque de Soliel is French. I have been three times. It originates in my country of CANADA!

@@jennyapple4704 thank you! It really does. Wish everyone could know this love. Thankful my children saw how to truly love the correct way. My 2 girls have seen how they deserve to be loved and how to love their significant others and my 3 boys learned the correct way to love and and be loved. It may have taken me 2 marriages but the 2nd one was the best. Wish I would have found him sooner will maybe not to much sooner since I'm 5 years older lol. I am now 50 and he is 45 and we have been together for 25 years.
