Just like me, I see that when you started in the aquarium hobby, it is so easy to get carried away. Raising and breeding aquatics is like a magnet to people like us. What you are doing is very logical and I am sure soon you will be answering questions instead of asking them. Very good video.

Is the rack level? Also, instead of plywood since it seems to sag in the center.. i use 2x2 instead. Tanks looking good.. hopefully they start breeding soon for you.
@thecallofshrimpАй бұрын
It does… I bought a gladiator rack because it has support in the middle so I thought it wouldn’t sag especially with wood added.. how many 2x2 do you use? I think I need to do that.
@jimmyhfishesАй бұрын
@@thecallofshrimp I have 3 2x2 on each shelf. 2 from corner to corner and from center to center.. (long ways) the tanks will sit on top of the 2x2...way better support...

Thank you very much. It is a custom made 2x4ft frag tank by Poseidon’s Creations.

I like your set up, I have a gladiator too! But your phone notifications dinging throughout your video is hella annoying

Thank you and I apologize for that. I think it was the background music !

It's not the shelf. Stick and a level on the square tube and you will see. I've seen others struggle with the wire shelf having an extra round bar welded on the outside edge. Your plywood is resting on that and then sags in the middle to reach the places where there is no extra wire.
@thecallofshrimpАй бұрын
What should I do? Get thicker plywood?
@lowellgutknecht6234Ай бұрын
@@thecallofshrimp Option 1) Cut off the wire. AQUAPRO has your same issue. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Z8eAe8aBydm-cp8.htmlsi=8xTOjQafmIvSVyjf 2) Remove the wire rack and just place thicker wood there. 3) Cut your wood to fit in-between the width of the two wires you would have cut off. Probably the easiest solution if you don't have a grinder and don't want to spend money. Less aesthetic appeal though. If you're really good with a skill saw you can just cut out a groove there the depth of the wire so you get end to end length.

Hi If you want your shrimp breeding like crazy change soil to ADA amazonia , and check temperature AND PH , ADA amazonia can leech ammonia for up to 8 weeks so be very careful adding anything to the tank in the next 2 months or so 😉
@thecallofshrimpАй бұрын
Hi there ! Thank you for the reply and I apologize for the late reply! I have been using ada Amazonia for the last 4-5 months. I honestly don’t see any improvements compared to fluval stratum.. although less of my caridinas were dying, I’ve not had any success of the breeding as of yet.. any recommendations?
