Cataract Canyon whitewater rafting October 2020

3 жыл бұрынWhitewater rafting on the Colorado River in Cataract Canyon in Canyonlands National Park, Utah. A little lower water levels made for a wonderful and exciting trip. Fall cataract canyon can be a little chilly but we were blessed with perfect weather. Thank you Inflatable Technologies for the invitation and Special thanks to the whole crew Zach, Caitlin, Eric, Brenden, TNT, Jeff, John, John, Brandon, Mel, Steve, and Brian for a fantastic fall whitewater trip.
Early October trip with approximately 4000 CFS in Cataract canyon, 2000-ish at Potash.

The double tube cat is great for punching large holes & in general, plus carries a lot of gear/beer! Little harder to turn, but worth it.

would a 14 ft raft on this river at this time of year be too small? What size rafts did yall use?

You betcha. As a matter of fact, there are 2 fourteen footers and a 13 footer in this video. The rest are sixteen footers.

That thing likes to punch holes. If you watch our Rogue video, you'll see that double tube cat smash through Rainie falls.

There were a few. Nissan 15hp 2 stroke longshaft, Lehr 5hp longshaft, Mercury 5hp 4 stroke longshaft, and a Tohatsu 5hp 2 stroke shortshaft.
