Hello this is Mary Ann from South Jersey as you know from the weather we got snow and I say let it Snow because it's Craft Time working on the quilt and my daughter is learning to cross stitch we're going to the Farmers market and they had garden flax and one of the garden flags had the cancer symbol on it well I bought four flags I put the fabric around them and I am now adding the cancer symbol garden flag to my quilt our library where the seniors crochet and knit and I crossed it has opened again I took nine of my blocks to show the senior ladies and they could not believe that I came up with the idea of putting the garden flag in my quilt and I'm so glad that you're back on the road have a great day thank you

Enjoyed seeing you and your projects. Cedar Ridge Quilt shop is my style. I really like Tilda fabric and so many other fabrics I saw. I'm also a big fan of Meg Hawkey and saw the truck patterns. I'm going to give them a call and order the all the truck patterns. Your videos are always relaxing and enjoyable but many times I'm too rushed to sit down and watch. Sheech, what am I rushing for?! I'm not going anywhere except for groceries and cleaning house. Yes, we live on acreage but it's winter and we've already trimmed all the fruit trees back. Lesson learned is SLOW DOWn. Thank you for posting. Patty McDonald🙃

I'm not a quilter but I love watching both stitch and quilt roadies. I'm so excited because my Raspberry Rabbit came. I have gently caressed it and lovingly put it in a project bag and am hoping it will be a spring stitch because I'm a monogamous stitcher and must finish my If thou thinkest twice piece. Try as I might, I can hear my mother's voice telling me to finish what I've started, so finish one piece before I start another will be my practice, at least for now. Thank you so much for introducing me to the Raspberry Rabbit.

I was looking for the Button Fantasia pattern on line only to realise that it was a class. I hope the pattern gets released as I think it is really gorgeous and so creative, and G’s music was so uplifting to listen to. Your projects are looking good, too. Isn’t it a treat when something good comes out of an oopsie?? Great idea to change the leaves to rosebuds. I wouldn’t have thought of doing that so kudos for imagination. Anna. What a wonderful presentation, both your personal 'quiltside' chat as well as your tour of Cedar Ridge Quilts! This was my first visit to your blog and I have subscribed so I can see more of your activities at the Beehive - I love that name for your studio. I wanted to particularly thank you for focusing on my Button Fantasia class project towards the end of the video; several of your viewers have reached out to me about that project and thanks to you, I now am planning to document that as one of my patterns. In the beginning of your blog, you mentioned that there was a class you were interested in at the shop that had already taken place and I hope I'm not being presumptuous that it was this one but if you do make it to a future Button Fantasia class (we have rescheduled it at the shop for April) , I'd love to meet you. So nice to hear from you again. I've just started following you and your chats have reignited my interest in hand stitching! Thanks for the list of shops in your drop down menu. Oregon is just so beautiful and I hope to do some traveling there. Here in upstate NY, we are having a record breaking winter. LLLLLots of snow and frigid temperatures below 0. P.S. I learned to sew as a young girl. But for many years, I was busy teaching English, farming and raising a family. I started quilting when I retired in 2015. It began with an unfinished quilt that my mother started hand sewing in 1976. This became a tribute to her...as well as a gift for my Dad's 90th birthday. Along came two grandbabies and quilts for them. And so on and so on... I love your outlook on life that shine through your videos. Life is such a winding road...;full of highs and lows that makes me think of your opening footage. Best to you on this snowy day, Ellen Shaw

I'm from Wisconsin and a clear blue sky in January almost always means freaking cold weather. By cold, in Wisconsin terms is below zero. It is lovely to look at from inside by a fire and wrapped in a cozy quilt!. Happy to see you working on the tumbler, but I actually miss seeing it behind you! So nice to see the variety of genres of quilts behind. A pieced quilt with your new fabrics would look very nice among the others. Not much going on here except at work but in February, Wisconsin is having a shop hop, small one, 14 shops around the southwestern part of the state. Sounds like a personal day!(day off)
