Well, depends on the definition of kid... i've been eating mussles since I was seven. My parents always say it was their biggest mistake to introduce me to good food, cause I've never been happy with something regular ever since.

If anything, it's the size of the box the spoon comes in that irritates me the most. Even the box is over-engineered! Also I am in my 30s, but would still have fun with that DJ plate.

That spoon/spatula would've been a godsend to me in college. I had one plate, one bowl, one spoon, one fork, and one knife for about 5-6 years in college, so having one spoon that could measure, keep my apartment kitchen cleaner, help measure things, and scrape that last little bit of jelly or mayonnaise from the jar would've made it my favorite utensil ever.

The Crumbpet is cute & clever, & a good price. I can see it as a gift for the cook who has everything. It would also be a good way to get children to help clean up in the kitchen. The children's plate would be good on camping trips bc of its toughness, & it's certainly not the 1st plate combo designed to inspire kids to eat. The Supoon? I either want a flat scraper or a curved scraper, not a combo, & yes, I can see myself hurrying around in the kitchen & knocking the Supoon over.

Thanks for the comment Barbara! We really appreciate the feedback. The main purpose of the Supoon is so you can scrape every last bit of what you're cooking, but it can also be used for mixing, measuring, stirring, serving - so it's really versatile. And the bend in the handle is useful for leaning on the edge of a pot or a pan while you're cooking so it doesn't slide into what you're cooking, and all the saucy goodness goes back into what you're cooking. We know we're not for everyone, but we sure like hearing your feedback. Thanks again!

Hello! Our Supoons can be used for heaps of things, as well as the spatula scraping function. They're great for scooping, serving, mixing...and measuring (they've got measure markers so you don't have to fuss with measuring spoons). While we love a bit of common sense, our designs are geared toward making tools that get used daily and last a lifetime! Second but love these video's!! First, the spoon, usefull Second, the vacuüm, not very usefull for me but fun Third, the dj plate but useless for me and a pain to keep clean especially if kids are involved.

Half the price of the spatula spoon must have gone on packaging. Ridiculous. I hate it just on all that unnecessary packaging.

I actually liked the spoon but with that packaging I'll never buy it. Huge environmental impact for no reason...

Hi friend! We love the earth as much as we love food...and gadgets. This box is a specially created gift box we made just for the Sorted Food guys. Our normal packaging you'll see in shops around the country is much smaller. And you'll be happy to know it's all recyclable too!

The supoon - it was hard to tell if those measurements would help. It looked like, because of the shape, you could only measure liquids that you could see through. If the liquid were opaque, you wouldn't be able to see the lines. If you were measuring a dry ingredient, you couldn't level it off. I still think that, if you're just using it for rough estimates on the measurements, the design is useful. I love that the supoon's bottom doesn't touch the work surface.

Hi Claire! Thanks for the comments. The measure markers inside the Supoon's work-end are marked so that you fill up to the line but can still see the marker. Check it out here: www.dreamfarm.com/supoon And the Mini Supoon is an exact 5ml/1tsp measure which is great for coffee, jam, sugar, whatever you need to measure. Or, heck, just use like regular spoon it to clean out your nutella pot. I won't tell, I promise. :)

I could literally just imagine a child being given that plate with food on it, say a few chicken nuggets, mash, beans, the works and in one quick, sharp spin being scattered all over the room and that child in 3 seconds haha
