👏 Yes to this I understand why reactors ALWAYS react to nothing compares 2 U seeing as it's a Prince R.I.P tribute but I would like just one reactor to react to Fell on Black Days from the same acoustic Sirius XM radio set Chris's R.I.P vocals singing that song gave me chills especially when he hits the high notes ✌💕

This shows the unique qualities of his voice and how effortless he makes it look to be on pitch like 100% of the time... but it doesn’t show his insane range. I do love this video though.

I love the younger generation digging and getting into the voices that we grew up on...I mean Prince nailed that song and was one of my favorite songs when he did it (next to Starfish and Coffee that is). Chris Cornell made it so soulful man.

He was in Soundgarden, Temple of the dog, audio slave and had a solo career. He was one of the Major players in creating the grunge scene in the 90's with the like of Pearl jam (Eddie vedder) Alice in chains (Layne Stayley, RIP and Jerry Cantrell) and stone temple pilots (Scott Weiland, RIP)

I saw him when he was doing his solo tour, it was one of my top 3 concerts I've been to, and that's a pretty extensive list. He's the first famous person I had teared up upon hearing about his death. Kinda made me a little bit emotional hearing this. He's such a beautiful person, and while he's no longer tormented or suffering the world is certainly not better off without him being gone. You could feel his emotions through word.. and he's greatly missed.

Truly one of the best voices to ever grace rock n roll!!! Please do more his original band Soundgarden, Audioslave witch is a blend of Chris Cornell and the band members of Rage against the machine, temple of the dog witch is a blend of him and Pearl Jam or anything he did solo he was truly a legend and I paid tribute to him after his death by having his signature tattooed on my wrist if I could put pics on here I would show you

I love to see someone hear a song with heart with heart react. Music is such a beautiful thing we share as humans. My man. Glad you finally watched this. Unreal right. Effortless. As impressive his work was with SoundGarden, and audioslave too as i feel they were HIGHLY underrated, his acoustic work as he aged was untouchable imo and his best work. And SoundGarden was my generation. Chris was made to sit and play an acoustic guitar and sing. Simple as that. Will make the hairs on your neck stand up. Sure his range was silly good and he could hit high notes women only dream of, but his acoustic stuff was just so enjoyable. Just something else. You catch all the nuances and it was so effortless that when he hit the gas it was like a freight train came out of nowhere. And he had that bluesy sound that got better as he aged Some of his work, like this piece, sound so good it's hard to believe he's live. Check out all of his acoustic work. He did a show in Sweden. It's otherworldly. Covered Billie Jean. You'll love it

He had a unique way of singing from his stomach instead of like most do from the diaphragm. Christina Aguilera was considered one of the few people to hit a F6. There was a song not released by her record company cuz they believed people could not sing along to that octave, so it was taken off of her album. She was considered one of very few people that could hit that note. Chris could actually go higher than her and the fact that he was a male singer made it inconceivable to most. He was literally born to sing and there will never be anyone one that could imitate his raw talent 🖤

Incredible song writer Incredible catalogue Aweaome musician (guitarist, drummer, etc...started off as a drummer even before singing) A pioneer....The Grunge O.G. .. Versatile, true to self artist, SOUL... Revered by fans AND other musicans alike And even this video right here ....This is 20 years past his full vocal powers..... In an accompanying message, he wrote: "Prince's music is the soundtrack to the soulful and beautiful universe he created, and we have all been privileged to be part of that amazing world. I performed his song 'Nothing Compares 2 U' for the first time a couple months ago. It has a timeless relevance for me and practically everyone I know. Sadly, now his own lyrics in this song could not be more relevant than at this moment, and I sing them now in reverence as I pay tribute to this unequaled artist who has given all of our lives so much inspiration and made the world so much more interesting. The fact that the song is one of the most melancholy, heart wrenching songs ever written makes it hard to listen to, to begin with...couple that with Chris' untimely death and the fact that this particular performance showcases his voice like no other. I could barely listen. But I did. We grunge rock lovers have been tested with almost all of our genres singers having passed away. And of course, the writer of the song, the magnificent Prince, gone as well. All combined, it's heartbreaking. But still irresistible to listen to.
