I would too. It’s a lot easier to get lost in the KZfaq rabbit hole so I’m not always on here. But then when I am your videos can get lost. That being said, I love how you use visuals and your expressions and hand motions to communicate and some of that might get lost in a podcast medium.

Thank you so much for this video! ❤ I just found your channel and subscribed. I’m a single mom of a 2yr old. I come from a family of generational curses on both sides. So it’s just her and I. I know so very little and I want to break this generational curse and not pass it on to her. I’m going through a very hard season but I am starting to realize God is answering my prayer to grow spiritually mature and raise my daughter to know the Truth of Christ. I appreciate you posting this helpful video. I will check more of your content out. I definitely want to be and live my life as an example of Christ! He is our ONLY Hope! ❤ I pray you and your family continue to grow in Christ! Praying God blesses your family and everyone who may read this with strength, courage, comfort, faith, hope, love, wisdom, discernment, and unshakable trust! In the loving name of Jesus Christ, I pray! Amen! 🙏🏻❤️🙂🙏🏻

I love this! My children are grown but we are raising our oldest granddaughter, and have since her birth. I wish I had thought of this when my children were small. We both lived in legalistic homes before marriage and did not know how to be better Christians for a long time. We did our spiritual lives just like our parents, in following that legalistic church and it caused a lot of damage. Thank God he delivered us from that, but my children didn't get what we really wanted for them when they were growing up. Only one is in church and serving God. One doesn't even talk us, although she knows and lived with us during and after we got into a good, Biblically based church and in spiritual order. So, it is extremely important to raise kids in a Godly home, explaining and debating what God wants and how we should love others in front of the kids. It really does matter. It matters when you mess up to admit it, to change and to be transparent with your kids. They need to know this, so they can learn how to live like God would have them live. It is better to show them than tell them only, which is what we experienced before we were married. I recommend start praying for their spouses now. I didn't know to do that when my kids were little, and trust me, it matters!!!

I love what you said about telling your son that God is a safe place to run to when mommy hits the breaking point and sins. My son is the same way and I struggle with frustration but never know how to address that. Thank you for your God given wisdom. ❤️ As for teaching toddlers, one thing our assistant pastor said at church that stuck with me was his parents started doing at home Bible studies with him at a young age, (around the age my children are, 4&5) and he doesn't remember the lessons from that young, rather the love of God's Word that his parents had and wanted to share with him. I know my children don't understand everything but regardless they are constantly asking to read Bible stories and learn about Jesus and it's a blessing to see that God is faithful to building a foundation in my children's lives. I really need to work on not living a "hypocritical gospel" that you were talking about at the end of your video, so I can show them a consistent lifestyle of faith and glorify God better. It's definitely crucial when you have little ones depending on you. Thank you Faith!😊

Faith this is honestly one of the best videos I've seen on Christian parenting. No A-Z of how it's done, just honesty. The best way to disciple our children is to model to them our lives as disciples. Thank you for being you and letting God use you to shine his light 🥰

I’m still learning! My drive to strengthen my faith has been huge lately and my older son has taken note. He sees me reading the Bible and asked for one of his own. He said, “I want a Bible that I can write in too!”. We’ve read through several children’s Bibles. These days, we read a story or page from the Old Testament and a story from the New Testament in a children’s Bible (so it’s more of a summary and glosses over things that aren’t age-appropriate), something I started doing with Faith’s Grace Bible Study Plan. My son loves to hear how the Old Testament points to Jesus, and I’m usually sharing what I just learned with him. I think it’s the modeling that I was unwittingly doing that affected him the most. He was recently baptized and it’s been so beautiful to see God working in his life! My two year old really responds to music so we sing and dance a lot with him. He loves “Let it shine”. Don’t ask me about the teenage years - those scare me. 😂

You are incredible and I am gaining so much insight. I have been obsessed with reading the Bible to my son every morning for years. He’s 9 and told me he hates Bible time and doesn’t believe in God. I’m totally freaked out and would love any advice or future videos on unbelievers. Your video shows me that I need to live a Godly life to model and also to talk about these hard things instead of get angry at him

Needed this. My 4 year old had a “hard question” to me tonight. I am so concerned that I won’t be able to explain something the “right” way to her which will lead her to a dark road ahead. I love her so so much and I know that giving her the gift of Christ will be the biggest gift, ever! I know now that I will show her more through my actions and have honest conversations in the things we do/don’t do. Seems obvious, but sometimes you just need a reminder and go ‘back to basics’.

I didn’t grow up in a church going home but I knew good and bad and right from wrong and for some reason if I even thought of doing something wrong I would see my parents face? It would keep me from doing the wrong thing? Stop me dead in my tracks. I was the only one of my friends who was 24 when i got married and was a virgin . Never did drugs . Reallly only thought good things. Anyway at age 17 my mom watched the PTL club yes I know all the bad stuff about them, but really through that time in my life and I went to a Mormon church with friends, I realized It was God stepping in front of me in my parents form to keep me on the blessed track ! He also taught me that I was a Christian and could not whole heartedly believe in the Mormon ways and kept me safe. Anyway wanted to share that? I praise God and my Parents for my good up bringing. Now my mom was a mess, did many bad things but she tried to overcome it , leave it in the past and go on. I saw that I never wanted to make her mistakes. She was looking for love here on earth and never truly found what she needed and was never happy on earth. I know she happy now in heaven. Since 2007.

Thank you Jesus for dying for my sins. I’m still trusting in you even though I’m struggling putting groceries in the refrigerator, and paying bills. I lost my job because I declined the vaccine. I declined because of my pre existing health condition (Lupus) and Heart disease. I was denied my medical/religious exemption from Forsyth Hospital. My husband passed away three years ago, Im all alone. I’m a single mother. Both of my sons are autistic and non verbal. Every month is a struggle, a battle to not end up on the streets. I’m so depressed and embarrassed by my situation. I post my story all over to spread awareness of what mandates are doing, not just to myself but to many other families. I’ve been put down and mocked because of my circumstances it truly hurts me. BUT even after all these things. I STILL HAVE FAITH GOD WILL PROVIDE. He has sent strangers to help me. I’m forever grateful! EVEN as I face homelessness seemly every month with two young children. I have faith our Heavenly Father will provide. Thank you Jesus.

Its all gotta come down to the gospel.I have an 8 year old and our conversations can look like this.: "Honey I am so sorry I lost my patience. I make mistakes even when I try my hardest not to. That's why I am so thankful that Jesus died on the cross. If He didn't die for my sins, I could never ever be able to get better at this. But because He did, I can say, dear Jesus, I am so sorry that I lost my patience. I know that was not good. Please forgive me and give me wisdom and help in becoming more patient. Thank you for your grace and your mecry. Amen. And now, I know that He says that I am. So we try again." This is the same conversation we have when he does something wrong and gets caught. But I was thrilled that when I read him the verse James 2:10 and asked him if he had any idea what it meant, he thought for a second and said, "that none of us can be perfect before God? And thats why we needed Jesus?" If this can be the foundation, I'm praying it will help him understand how amazing grace actually is and how much we truly need a savior!

I don't have kids, but I have an English Chocolate Lab pup.I think the thing that sticks out to me is learning how to train. As parents I think it is so important to learn how to train your children as well.I grew up in a home where we had to be in church anytime the doors were open, yet abuse was going on behind closed doors.I don't know if that parent really knew how to really parent I guess as they lived a rough life. How do we show children if we don't know.So I think this is where my thought about learning how to train comes in...and using the tools God has given us

I also want to study with oh 12 yo daughter. Do I study WITH her as my personal study time? I struggle with making time for it all. I wonder if I study alone in the morning, I’m not showing her a good example. Do I study alone in her presence? With her (I’ll do that, too, but use it as my study time, too) or alone I’m the morning? HELP!

you should start by praying for them and also try and preach to them . Tell them how the internet has an addiction in then and that it has chained them . And when they say it's not true . Tell them to try and stay away from it dir 1 month and I bet she will fail . Then you can tell her that you proved your point . And if she wants to come out of this addiction then she must know jesus

@@francisadodo9399 i did exposed the darkness around internet because when inwas a kid i was exposed to a lot of things in the internet . Porn and other stuff so now that this could ruin my siblings i did told my mom and dad about it and exposed to them . I'm ashamed of what i did back then but i still exposed myself for the sake of exposing the internet . But my siblings are so glued to their phones to the point where they don't obey anymore without my mom giving them her phone in exchange of doing something . Since my mom is the only one there ( im in college so i rarely go home , my dad is in a different country for work ) mom can be very exhausted that she has no other choice but to held them on her phones so they can watch but at the same time sitting there and taking care of our shop . You can yell at one of them and she will ignore you .she become more stubborn like me in the past .That's why im the one who can control her because i know how she can be stubborn because ive been there . But when i ce to christ of course that is removed . Their still young but i know that even young children can understand the gospel because God is giving them the understanding . And i will try this with my siblings to like really share them the gospel in a young age . Knowing them they will not listen to me and they will think itll be boring but nothing is impossible with God . Maybe they will listen or maybe not idk but still try to

I'm having a difficult time with discernment when it comes to things like Harry potter (and other magical things like Santa) and holidays such as Halloween. I've had people tell me that since I'm christian then I shouldn't be picking and choosing what things we can and can't do. And I'm stuck..... Mainly because I don't want my kids to be naive to things and I feel like if you say no magic then you have to say no to Harry Potter, all witches of any kind even room on the broom...what about witches or fairies in the disney princess movies.... santa, elf on the shelf, the easter bunny, and so on and so forth. I want my kids to know that some things are fake and some things are REAL. And I'm really struggling....!!!

Hi, i understand your concerns and you will benefit by being better equipped to deal with this by a YT a video titled *Battling the Dark Light of Occultism with Fr. Turbo Qualls* because it will help you have a larger understanding and have words to use when speaking to your children to inform them without keeping them naive. Harry Potter is brought up at timestamp 16:15 when the pastor said his 12 year old daughter asked him if she could read HP, and what he shared with her about the will, and he also brought it up 3/4 way thru the talk to mentions that his daughter asking about reading HP was not her real desire to readd it but about wanting to impress or get acceptance from her friends.

My oldest turns 12 this year and my biggest tip is to start talking about SEX as early as you can (age appropriate of course) mostly so that YOU get comfortable talking to your kids about it! Its too late having the discussion when theyŕe teenagers...bc guess what! by then their FRIENDS or the internet have informed them of al lot allready! And you wanna be in that mix as early as you can so that they have a sound, good, christian view also in all the information they meet. And also do it as gracefully as you can...talking about your own misstakes and so on...feelings ,desirers and how it can drive you to do stuff you later regret...so thay can feel safe comming to you with their misstakes and thoughts and know you can handle it=)

For anyone teaching children about the gospel ! Here you go ! God Loves (Hold hands together outstretched in front of you.) God loves us and wants to have a relationship with us. Great news: God wants us to be part of His family and live with Him forever in heaven! We Sin (Move left hand outstretched to side. Right hand remains outstretched in front of you.) But we sin (“doing anything God doesn’t want us to do”). The punishment for sin is death (separation from God…broken relationship). Jesus Died (Stretch out both hands to the sides.) Jesus took our punishment for us by dying on the cross. It’s like your brother or sister taking a timeout or consequence for you. God Forgives (Move right hand back to be outstretched in front. Left hand remains outstretched to side.) Because Jesus died for us, our sins can be forgiven. The Bible calls this a gift (forgiveness and the opportunity to have a relationship with God). We Accept (Bring both hands together outstretched in front, as at the beginning.) Before a gift is ours, we must accept it. The Bible says we accept God’s gift by believing in our hearts that Jesus died for us and accepting His forgiveness for our sins. You can do this by praying and telling God you believe and you want His forgiveness. When they want to give their heart to the lord, Then do the abc (admit, believe. the bible says . Raise the kid in the way he should go and when he's older he will not depart from it . If you dont start it from a young age it will be hard for them to get it when they are older .its good to have a firm foundation
