My favorite thing about this is that non-religious christmas movies are more about love and compassion then this movie is. Even Hallmark Christmas Specials get that much right!

He actually became a “Christian” because of his wife. He was 17 and she was like 23 when they started dating. I personally think he just wanted to get laid and got caught up in the born again thing. Then I guess his family saw the money in it and they all converted too.

I can walk into a store and buy Christmas decorations and hear Christmas music on the radio in September. But sure, there's totally a "war on Christmas." 🙄

Now let's look at Saving Christmas and : do I even need to bloody explain what Veggie Tales did right and what Mr. Kirk Cameron did wrong? I hope I don't! Also, Sean, Mr. Cinematic Excrement, I love your work, and I hope you had a Merry Christmas, if only to compensate for the pain of watching Surviving Christmas again.

Kirk's sister Candace (married to a Russian) is quite a piece of work as well.

Considering how awful Kirk's sister is, being a nefarious homophobe runs in the Cameron family.

This film is the living definition of ironic. Cameron set out to create this work of art that glorifies his faith and instead created a monstrosity that is nothing but comedy gold for his opponents. He tackled the most important subject in his life, something he has spent years pursuing, and screwed it up so badly that as long as there is video streaming he will be held up to ridicule until finally people forget completely about it.

“Christian Strawman” would’ve been even more on the nose.

I was gonna have me and my family riff on this movie in 2018. Circumstances prevented that from happening though. It would've been so fun watch this and laughing at how ridiculous it was. If only 😔

This is one of my top-five favourite KZfaq channels and whenever a new video drops, I'm onto it as soon as I can. The videos are well made, the script is always funny and the presentation is uniformly top-notch (even in the very earliest videos, I could see the potential behind the endearing ropiness). This channel should be far bigger than it is because it deserves a much wider audience. Anyway, Merry Christmas, Mr Smeghead. Keep up the very good work and thanks for another entertaining and informative episode.

Kirk seems to be incapable of realizing the following things. Not everyone had good experiences on Xmas Not everyone has family or friends to spend Xmas with We are a circular society now and lots of people have religions that don’t celebrate Xmas, such as Judaism or Islamism If people ask you to keep the volume low on Xmas, it’s because they’re trying to sleep and he’s probably being too loud Some people just don’t like Xmas because of how much of a corporate holiday it has become. Too much hot chocolate is bad for you!

I can understand the part about Jesus being called the last Adam since he was called that in the New Testament. That whole part about Adam having to climb up on the tree because "when you steal something you have to give it back" was just ... odd.

Also to add; United Passions, aka The FIFA movie (talk about timing), should have made a brief mention at the Razzies not only how big of a bomb it was, but also dealing with the corruption charges in 2015. Yet, The Razzies got this one right, knowing how big of a mess this movie was.

I think Kirk and Darren going way off-script works if you look at it as Kirk and Christian having gotten drunk at the party. If Christian was sober, he would not have stayed in the garage. The two being drunk is the only way to make it make any sense.

what's wrong with getting DVDs from Netflix? they have a lot of TV shows and movies on DVD that they don't have on streaming and I still get them all the time

The "Last Adam" thing is from the Bible where in both Romans and 1st Corinthians Jesus is called the 2nd Son of God; Adam being the first. The passages compare the two - "by one we're cast into sin and death, by he other life" - to loosely paraphrase. The actual phrase "Last Adam" is used in 1 Corinthians 15:45, if anyone is curious.
