@Channah Racham really? I breastfed my son up until 7 months and didnt lose a lot of qeight. It did help some bit. But its all about workout and eat healthy and good amounts.

Never pregnant but I put up like 60-70 pounds since we started our preparations for the wedding. 2 years married and I was at my heaviest and he too. I don't see anything wrong and he stills being a handsome man to me, but I feel absolutely misshapen and like a lump of lumps. He doesn't give 2 f#cks because he states "we both pull up weight and our body changes during the years, if you want to loose weight to get healthier, that's great, but not because I don't see you attractive anymore". He have this huge heart of gold and I know our relationship is not only our physique, but I feel undeserving of his attraction being in this weight. I dropped some amd it was amazing! I felt all the energy coming back, but then I got it back. Uff, has been a lot for my self esteem, but I have to trust his view, since others agree and he is loyal as a dog. And I'm loyal to him. I need to work in my stuff.

I read the book because a friend lend it to me, I bought a copy for myself. To read it again and again and not forget how we need to express love in the way our partners understand they're being loved. Wonderful book.

Sometimes, when I noticed (thanks work from home for that) that his shift was rough, I kiss him or hug him or rub his shoulders and I make sure he's looking me in the eyes and I tell him how proud I am because he's a hard worker man. You need to see his eyes. Guys needs recognition and pampering too.

It can take a while to undo decades of depreciation of self due to society telling you you're ugly on a consistent basis. She's strong and believe she will overcome her deep insecurities while learning to love herself as he loves her. I see 90% of voluptuous dark skin lovely ladies that resemble her fears and same actions when it come to why they truly feel unnatracive. But her minor flaws are repairable, you can tell she's a good woman and he's a good man so they'll make it far 😎

I agree, they have potential but they need to learn how to create their own intimate space, space with the baby and bonding. Intimate time is not only to have sex, is speaking with your partner, having a walk together, whatever is centered in you and your spouse/partner. And time for their needs. He needs to chill a little alone and decompress, she needs her nails or hair or free time to pamper herself... Is about being patient, talking and most importantly, listening. A lot more bumps will come down the road and they need to learn how to surf them together. I hope they succeed. That's how my hubby and I do.
