The thing about Ren, for me, is his range. He could turn his hand to almost any style. I love the description he came up with "Bardcore". 🙂

It's the most accurate description for his style really. Cos even though he can bounce from genre to genre, the main thing that stays constant throughout all of it is his unbelievable storytelling. Just like a bard. He's really something special

Ren doesn’t just have “it”, he has all of it 😅 Multitalented genius. Everything he touches is just insane. And despite all his struggles he still has great humour. Love this guy. Can’t wait to see what he comes up with in the future cause it is sure to be amazing.

Don't apologise for being blown away by Ren, sir... I feel the same. Been telling everyone about him and feel like a proper fan boy (even though I'm 48) - I think he's a generational talent and haven't heard anyone so versatile and talented for a long time. He goes in the same genius category as Prince for me.

Hi Cliff! I thought the line line was a pun on writing lines, especially as part of the sixteen bar. :-) Mind you, double meaning is very much possible. That is Sam in the driving seat, the cinematographer behind The Tale of Jenny and Screech, Hi Ren, and Sickboi. Great track. Great reaction!

I remember when I was going through tough times, you can only control what is within your power, you can also have a sphere of influence that you can have some control over. But then there are the things that are outside of your power that you cannot control. You can only control how you react to the things you can't control. I already knew this, but putting it into action frees you from being locked onto things you can't control. I hope everyone can make it through the adversity they face. Nothing more beautiful than being human amongst all other living and non-living things. His music is cathartic and super enjoyable at the same time.

Such an uplifting song and such a great reaction Cliff, thank you. Yeah the video was probably captured by just 2 phones, him driving with a friend. Trivia: The driver is his friend and cinematographer for many of his videos, Samuel Perry-Falvey. He is in front of the camera for a change.

I dont know if anyone said this already, but Ren recorded this video after a bad break with a manager. He told Sam, the guy driving, that he wanted to do this. Its filmed using two cellphones.

Nice reaction, we like the same music, ive seen Pete and Bas live. If you want his best rap, try 'loosing it', by far his best rap tune. Best thing about it, not many have reacted to it yet, about 6 I think, so don't drag your heels, get in early.

Loving these reactions! Diazepam by Ren and Losing It are some other great songs by him you should check out. Also the song Dignity by his band The Big Push is a beautiful song and the music video is a great snapshot of Ren and his friends just living and enjoying life. A wonderful juxtaposition from his other videos like Hi Ren and Money Game
