Good to see Cloud of Darkness is overall very similar to how I remember her in Duodecim. She was so fun to do silly stuff with... like beating Primal Chaos with her at level 1 cause I was bored...

Oh wow it never told me I had any replies. Welp, you can beat Primal Chaos fairly easily with her just by kiting him and spamming homing attacks until he dies. Fly up as high as you can and keep moving to dodge his attacks. Of course I died a lot trying it but once you get it down it just takes patience and plenty of time. Summons can help of course.

I'm so glad to see her back, she was one of my favorite villains to play as. She was so versatile, she's got a move for most every situation.

Now that I think about it, Flood of Darkness is the CLOSEST thing we have to EX mode and EX burst. Activate to power-up for a period of time, then quickly use the finishing super attack before it's gone. And yeah, she's too NSFW in HD.

Interesting observation. Seeing she is one of the last characters added before release, maybe she doubles as a 'beta-test' for EX mode and EX burst. Then all the other characters will get something like that, and CoD gets her own team buff EX skill later. So eventually every character has EX skills that do team-related buffs, OR they can choose an EX skill that buffs themselves and allows them to execute some crazy HP move.

Did I see that right at 8:06? [0-Form] Particle Beam seems to have super armor during its animation, or is that just a general rule for attacks against projectiles?

I don't really like to play heavy type character but when CoD comes, i spam her a lot. She is quite OP at the moment. Sadly she will got nefted soon.

Does Cloud Of Darkness 4th hp attack need to have the Flood of Darkness buff on to land or something.(teleporting Hp attack) I recently unlocked it but it cant hit anyone with it, though i am hitting them.

Might not be as good as quick 2 hit HP attack like Vaan's Azure Torment. But against other type in very close range. it will win most of the time.

Scatter Shot is kind of useless imo. Super close range. Only good in corners. Same with one of Kuja'a HP attack

Darryl Hamlin yeah but a lot of characters in the Dissidia games seem to have some of their moves that aren't canon in their games(like WoL and his HP attacks for instance)

They are, however, based on something else that character had going for them. CoD had no such options. She shows up right at the end, no real characterization beyond wanting to use the power of Void to destroy, and only has 1 attack, and weird tentacle things in her art.

Darryl Hamlin still doesn't justify the naming convention. Look, it's just a nitpick. It doesn't really bother me that much. Just wanted to point out that her moves make her sound like a Gundam or something. Haha
