Instead of seeing it as taking away screen time, they should’ve just added more minutes to the show to get more of Miguel and Johnny and even tori who I really liked until she went all crazy. They could’ve made each episode 35 minutes long to add extra screen time to Miguel.

@@anthonyradford8605 He's actually been director for years... he's a terrific actor but spent most of his time the last 20 years or so behind the camera instead of in front of it. What's really great though is that he's always kept very close to all his "Karate Kid" co-stars... so when he directed No More Kings "Sweep the Leg, Johnny" music video, he only had to pick up the phone and it became a mini-reunion. I got to work on that video, and it's one of the best experiences I had in Hollywood, meeting the Cobras on set and seeing how much they're all still buddies. (They all still had their Cobra Kai uniforms and everything!)

I know, right? It's also why I can't give Star Wars a pass on their writing anymore. 2 seasons of this show demonstrating how to bring back characters from 30 years ago while introducing us to new characters to care about, while also giving us an exciting new story... well, it basically writes the book on how to do it right. The only thing I really didn't like was Stingray... he's kind of this show's Jar Jar, in my opinion, where all of season 2 is so much better without him. There's so much meat on the bone, the character just seemed corny and out of place.

I too want longer seasons but really what we would get is pointless filler and dull B plots. This is fine the way it is. It’s like getting 6 more karate kid movies all better than the originals.

As Johnny puts it, "Cobra Kai is about being badass!" and I think that applies in a meta-way to the show. This show is great because it's badass... the writing, the character development, the treatment of all the characters, (old and new)... I don't want them to lose that potency!

I know that the mentality of the Cobra-Kai of old will definitely not be the focus of what happens with Johnny. They better have Johnny be in some episodes in Season 3. I know that Daniel goes to Okinawa in S03, but I really do hope that Johnny somehow goes with him or however they can keep Johnny in the show. I really like his character. He has been the one that has changed the most for the better. And his quick one-liners make me laugh. I'm very sarcastic like him. Since the show is entitled Cobra Kai it seems that the Dojo would have to stay in the show in some way. I'm betting there will be a humongous showdown with Kreese and his monsters. And surely Hawk will end up in some big trouble along with the others that planned and carried out the severe beatings that were dished out at the high school. And, of course, Robby will already be in juvie probably or regular prison when S03 starts. Again, so many possibilities and I LOVE IT! I NEVER dreamed that they would have a sequel show. And when I first heard about it I thought it might be lame. Then I recently saw more of the trailers and snippets they were feeding the fans like us at the beginning that are old enough to remember the movies and were about the age of the teen characters, and I was blown away. So I got KZfaq Premium just so I could watch it, but not until recently. I had a lot of other things going on and didn't get to just sit down and watch it.
