It's been tricky to upload this video without triggering the fire gun policies. So the video is around 1/2 of its original length, without any product description, unfortunately.
Anyway, here's part 4 of this beautiful piece of history. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

And this ladies and gentlemen is what a premium restoration like this is worth every penny . This episode was only 13 minutes 33 seconds , but probably at least a week or more in the making . More to come , Sam colt would have been proud of you .

I am very, very impressed with your skills, knowledge and perseverance. Anxious to learn how you handle the repair/replacement of the bolt and the hammer. You are doing an marvelous job. And the edited video does not even begin to relate the length and detail of your efforts. I appreciate the addition of notes on time spent on a particular aspect of restoration that is hard, tedious and long.

Amazing job! Alkanet root powder, get from Indian food store in the spice section, in BLO makes a nice red oil. You can mix that in with your Birchwood Casey or any other oil finish. For rust bluing, I also use the Mark Lee solution and I now have been using Birchwood Caseys Browning solution. Heat steel to 275 F and apply. Boil as usual in rain water or distilled water. After about 6-8 applications and it turn a nice deep black. Thanks!

Hello I hope you have a great day so the reason why I am writing you is I saw your videos about restorations. And in my backyard while digging I found an old Revolver that's really really rusty thats maybe a hundred or more years old. So I don't know if it's restorable but it would be nice if I could send you some pictures so you could tell me what to do. Sorry if my English is not the best I come from Germany

this is turning out beautiful. i really appreciate the re-use of rust bluing and case hardening. im actually stuck with a .22 rifle right now, its a Winchester model 1909, pump action. the barrel was crooked - not bent, just crooked. managed to get the barrel off (after a "gunsmith" failed to do it!) with no damage and almost no heat. but my issue is the barrel needs to be relined, or replaced. im going to try to reline it, that way i can keep the patina look on it. rather than artificially age a new barrel, or attempt to re-blue the whole gun in a way like you have done (which financially isnt an option, unfortunately) but in the mean time, i cant necessarily do all that. so i was just going to put the barrel back on straight, and put it back together. its still a working and well shooting gun, just a very worn bore. i was wondering if you knew what you do to the barrel's threads when installing it back onto the receiver? i cant find anything in any resources ive been able to find that state to put anything on them, (grease, oil, lube, etc) or if you put them on dry. id like to put this gun back together so i dont loose any parts. i wouldnt imagine you would put anything on them, but im not 100% sure since i cant find any info on this.
