2021 Cornell MBA graduate comparing his MBA and Post MBA work life (in Tech), which one is better?
Hi everyone my name is Lin Chen, I am a recent MBA graduate from Cornell Johnson and I'm current working in the tech industry in the Seattle. I come from Singapore. After 7 months of post MBA work life, I decided to do a comparison and reflection video on my 2 years of MBA life vs my post MBA work life thus far, and shed some lights as to how I feel about each of them.

How are the risks (e.g. after 3-year OPT where we need to go back to our home country) for us Asians who don't have work authorization in the US? and what are your recommendations to mitigate them?

I think most ppl during OPT period will apply for H1B, H1B lotteries are kind of hit or miss. There are companies who help to apply green card as well, usually after you work for a certain period of time. In the event none of these works some companies might allow you to work in a different country's office. I would recommend talk to alumni and research on each company's policy and how supportive they are

Thanks! I did not have prior tech experience, which is why mba was a good place to learn new knowledge for a career pivot. might make a video on that
