My Entire MBA recruiting journey from Cornell Johnson to Amazon. In this video I will walk you through my entire MBA recruiting experience, every step of the way, from the moment I arrive at Cornell Johnson in July of 2019 all the way till where I am today as an Amazon finance manager. I will share with you all the ups and downs during my recruiting journey, how my mindset was during each phase of the process, and how different events shaped my recruiting strategy.
Hi everyone, I'm Chen from Singapore. I am a Cornell Johnson MBA graduate currently working as a finance manager in Big Tech. I came to the US in 2019 to pursue my MBA at Cornell Johnson and after graduating from business school I started my post-MBA career in Tech in Seattle. Thanks for sharing your experience man! Love the honesty during the struggle season. What would you advice for someone who want to switch career path from law to tech -also planning to apply to an MBA in 1 or two years? thanks in advance!

Thanks! I would almost always recommend two-year MBA unless you are staying in same industry/role. Having two recruiting cycles (internship, full-time) present you with a lot more opportunities and is overall safer bet especially for international students.

I'm applying to 50 companies a day, 50 LinkedIn requests, 2-3 coffee chats and 5 hours of interview prep.. no luck yet.. maybe because i don't have domain expertise.. I don't want to get into my old role
