I have the real steel VP9 and I'm rather impressed how accurate the Asia Model is.

Yeah, from my reference videos and images I looked at it is a pretty close replica. As per usual with VFC. but as an airsoft pistol for skirmishing use it might be so-so. But I really like it. My new favorite pistol over all for sure :D

Yes it is replaysed already. I got new version black deluxe edition just now and there is no marking on sides and crucader part comes just 2 sites (rear and front) even without green or white dots. No other crusader parts. Very upset.

Hey, nice reviews there! What is your 1 year later opinion on this Vp9? I own one myself and it broke just 4 months after i bought it. It is trowing out all of the gas after one or two shots. I did not get it to work.

Hey, thanks! :) Unfortunately as with most of my airsoft guns I haven't really used this at all. However, as a pistol, fire arms model, I love it. The design, looks and ergonomics. But, as you experienced yourself, being a Stark Arms/VFC replica they don't hold up very well and aftermarket support for making them durable is pretty much non existent (hehe). I have been eyeing some after market slides for it, but putting a $200 USD+ slide on a $140 USD pistol that doesn't hold up for usage is just not worth it.

I want to buy that HK VP9 but just for selfdefense, ok so whyyy do they put a damn fake sight on it?? I want it to be realistic can they just put a real one? I mean its not a cheap gun it should have real sights🙁

Hi chris!, the black vp9 one has a outer barrel with the inner threads? What kind of thread has? CW or CCW?

Yeah it has inner threading. Not sure the specs of the threads in the barrel but AMG make an adapter to -14mm CCW. shop.jkarmy.com/amg-14mm-ccw-silencer-thread-adaptor-for-umarex-vp9-gbb-14mm.html

What's the difference between the companies the Umarex and Vfc ?

VFC is the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), meaning they are the ones actually making the product. Umarex is a license holder and distributor. Meaning they are responsible for the markings/trademarks, branding, marketing, distribution etc. Hope that makes sense.

Can you buy a threaded outer barrel after market?

Yes. Ace 1 Arms has one available. Search for "vp9 outer barrel" on airsoft shop websites and you should find it :)

No. After initial release in Asia, Umarex took over the licensing rights for the H&K VP9 and models released after that does not have the authentic trademarks like the initial Asia version had. They are still made by VFC and still the same pistol. Just licensed and trademarked differently.

Ah. Because the black one was Asia Deluxe Edition with Crusader steel metal parts included. Asia = Full authentic markings Deluxe = Crusader upgrade steel parts included The gray one is a standard "non Asia" "non Deluxe" edition. If that makes sense :p You can buy the upgraded Crusader steel parts separately and install in a "non Asia" VP9.

vfc vp9 sucks do not buy it.it is not marui quality at all..it will become your headache....just my humble opinion.do not mind it seriously...

vfc quality isnt the best but they still look nice so its good for collectors

Sadly everybody who has bought it is reporting nothing but issues and shortcomings with it. Which is sad, as its basically the FNS design (which works amazing)steel on such a POS platform is a waste of money. This is VFC G36 all over again. wait for v2

Yeah you don't really use things which is why this is not relevant to you. I don't want to drop names here but look around and you will see what others are saying. Even in the official redwolf promo video the slide basically jams. That much I can name without promoting ppls

Well for me the Crusader steel spring guide rod was a big upgrade with slide operation and snappiness for sure :D

The gloves were due to the fact that I had an allergic reaction and my palms looked pretty gnarly :p But yeah, I did kind of feel like Michael Jackson, "TEEE-HEEEEEII!!!"

Are you living in antigun countries where real firearms aren't allowed, or is this just a particular hobby of yours. In my opinion if you want a vp9, just buy an actual gun.

Yeah, something like that. I live in Sweden where owning real guns requires a lot of paperwork and jumping through hoops. And I feel airsoft is a good compromise in that I get replicas that look like the real thing yet don't require all the work and responsibilities of a real gun :-D And yes, airsoft is one of my main hobbies!
