Wonder if hes tried suspending a cerimic plate in between the milk jug plastic to keep it held together. Kinda like the scorpion in the sucker trick

Would a vaccum help with fiberglass and resin bonding? Not letting it set in there obviously but putting it in a vacuum for like 10 min?

how about just 3x-cycle alternating polycarbonate-steel-ceramic layers composite in a enclosed frame, so that the layers are directly swappable

Hey, could you please make some asbestos reinforced jawbreaker candy armor tile to see if it could be a viable medieval bulletproof armor? Maybe you could switch asbestos for fiberglass if it's too dangerous to handle.

Hey Tech this out meow. Love what you're doing. I've seen your vid on melting HDPE into plates, but what about laminating the flat sheets together with an adhesive? I have cat sand jugs that are HDPE that have nice large level sides that are a perfect size for a chest plate (or a pelvic plate which I'd like to make). Have you ever tried laminating whole pieces without melting?

layered hexagon's are cool I hear. trauma pads to. If you had the resources, a hardened steel hexagon sandwich would kick ass. I'm ready to see a shield haha, keep trying to get promoted most of all haha

I would NOT want to wear that mask if it got shot. The impact would be awful, even if it stopped the bullet.

lol yeah that was one of my earlier designs, the back face on the ballistic clay wasn't bad til we got to the magnum, then everything changed. But as a base Idea you could, in fact build off it. That UHMWPE fabric is incredible at slowing bullets. You should look into that resin I used, it may help you with your project.
