Namjoon is known as the leader of the most popular kpop group in Korea. But that’s the thing. He isn’t just a leader of a successful boy band in Korea, he is the leader of one of the most progressive, revolutionary, and artistic musicians in the world.
Unfortunately, there’s not a lot of understanding and appreciation on how Namjoon leads this group, the sacrifices he makes, the victories he secretly wins, the failures he publicly suffers, and the youth he practically had to give up just to take BTS to where they are now.
Namjoon isn’t perfect. Far from it. Like any other person in the world, he was a child once. He didn’t always know what’s right or wrong. He didn’t always have the right answers or the right questions. He didn’t always know how to properly act, respond or talk.
He didn’t always know himself. But he always knew what he loved, music.
So, let’s talk about it - the struggles he went through to get to where he is now and who he is now… the mistakes he made and the lessons he learned… his past and how it helps shape his present… the obstacles he had to overcome and how it shaped him to be the leader, artist and person he is now. At the least the side of him he allows us to see

I finally found some RM stans. But we have to accept the fact too that not everyone loves him, appreciate him and all. And it reminds me that he is also underrated member of bts, searching his name on youtube he only got few fan cams and few viewers. But even though everyone will hate him, I'm here for him I will stay by his side even though he didn't know me. I still support him whatever decision he is making.

RM is a diamond that is precious .RM is a milestone in the world. I never met him in real life. I want to tell him that he is a sun of the world who endures a lot of hatred in himself but constantly tries to get love and inspiration from others. Kim Namjoon is my biggest rolemodel and I am so proud to be his fan. He is a truly amazing man, inteligent, self reflected, creative, thoughtful, caring, tolerant, empathetic, hard working, funny and incredibly handsome. List goes on and on... He isn't perfect, but none of us are and thats the way it should be. So, since he is aware of that, he is constantly trying to learn and improve yourself, like you mentioned in your video. And that makes him even more amazing. If I'd ever met him in real life, I would totally fall in love with him (if i havent already lol) And I swear, if I ever hear someone disrespect him again, I will start a verbal fight (no violence though bc violence is never the answer) I wish I could tell him in person one day, how much he means to me and how much he helped me and is still helping me everyday to keep going. He and his music are my biggest inspirastion. And I hope, he knows that ARMY loves him just as much as the maknae line, even though the screams they are getting may sound louder sometimes. Namjoon has been my role model since day 1. The line ''You don't have to be a fan to respect RM'' hits so hard cuz it's actually true. My sister isn't an ARMY but I've seen that respect for RM in her eyes. When you'll get closer to joon you'll realize how meaningful his words, his thoughts, and his existence is. Never gonna forget this man. Hats off to him.

RM has baby face which most people want. RM can rap and definitely can dance. I love how each member wanted to better themselves which makes them genuine. Such a incredible leader. This vid needs to blow up! Thank you for doing this vid. Many bts fans are forgetting his worth. If they look at the Credits on each bts song, they will find RM's name 95% of the time.. He is part of the production team who made most of the bts famous comebacks. I also agree that bts was built around him.. I thought i was only the one who noticed this. When everyone one in the original line up left, he was the only one who stayed, maybe that's the reason why Bang PD built bts around him. Bang PD saw a diamond while others saw a rock.

I love all BTS members, each of them are very unique. RM always amazes me with his maturity. Sometimes, seeing the guys on their 50s are bouncing around like teens, Nam Joom looks to me the ideal type of young man. Thank you for making this beautiful and detailed video. I wish it gets more views. I became army during this pandemic and Namjoon became my bias. When I discovered about the songs EG & trouble, I was extremely upset but at the same time I couldn't stop liking him. Then I learned that it was all before debut and he was just a teenager. A person becomes better when he learns from his/her mistakes and make sure they won't repeat it again. He even accepted it and apologized for it, which most people hesitate to do. For me he is one of the most beautiful people in this world and also my role model. 😊❤️💜

It's one of the, many, things I love about BTS, their awareness. They know about the influence and, with this, the responsibility that comes with their fame. I saw the same in the video about J-Hope. I think, this awareness of responsibility, is a proof of their maturity, despite their young age, and it add to their humbleness and their presence. This is some of the reasons they stand out from other artists and why I love them 😊♥️

I watched this video and absolutely loved how your framed everything, I was so impressed! Then I went away I watched a reaction video about this and read the comments over there and my head is spun out... there were many who completely missed the insight or perspective you were offering. Thank you. I have always believed that without RM there would be no BTS and that it is ironic that, even when this is acknowledged he is still widely under-appreciated by the many who favour the vocal or maknae line. They seem oblivious to the fact that without RM it is likely that each of them would be one of 100s of talented skilled amazing Koop artists and might not stand out as they do as members of BTS. BTS is where it is because of their message, and that message is substantially RM's. I love every member for the individual he is, each is essential in their own special way, and when one is missing BTS is not BTS. But RM is the rock.

I really like this video of RM .. I have always admired him for his hard work, for his lyrics, for his perseverance, for his leadership, for his endurance because of the amount of criticism and backlash he endured over the years is just incredible to say the least, but he is a born leader, just look at how far BTS has come since 2013 its amazing .. the other members really respect him as their leader and thats a key factor to their sucess .. and of course he has grown into a very handsome young man .. he is in fact one of my favourites of BTS 🥰🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜💜

One of many aspects of being a great leader is recognizing and owning your mistakes. Namjoon embodies leadership. Since he is still so young I think he does a wonderful job of doing that. Min Yoongi once said a leader comes with a lot of responsibilities and Namjoon does a good job taking care of all the members.

RM is truly an incredible man. Who has ever not put a foot wrong in their whole life? No one. But that RM didn’t let all the hate and criticism twist his soul, is an incredible feat, especially when he was always in the glare of the public eye, when he was an “idol”, with everything that word implied in lexicon and in the K-pop industry. His humanity is undoubted, his intellect formidable, his affection vast, his looks attractive and his leadership qualities unquestionable. He is my philosopher-king! No one else could have lead BTS; BTS wouldn’t be BTS without him.

This is an amazing piece about RM. He is an extraordinary young man. He is such a brave, intelligent, humble, caring person. We all forget that we as human beings are imperfect and we all make mistakes as the way to learn and grow. He took a great resposibility at such a young age. I bet he was scared to death. You can objectively judge a lyric and express your point of view, but to judge someone by their appearance or to make a death threat to any human being is just a sign of a psychological dissorder.

I love RM so much. I'm not just saying it but he is the first reason i got into bts and always used to avoid watching videos like this coz they would make me feel bad and sometimes i would even cry. Watching how a beautiful person can even get death threats but today i tried to hold it on to watch it. I think there is hate everywhere in the world even for us normal people....... Just if we all could get a chance to tell him how amazing he is !!

RM Namjoon is really an intelligence person and ever since I know the BTS I already respect his leadership. Actually, it's hard to make a group to be perfect like BTS. It's hard to be a leader with all the other 6 male idols with their own talent, fame and intelligent and to make then agree with him too. But actually he did it that is why he is a true leader and at his younger age he can stand to be a leader. He also make them all closer like a real and true brothers with different parents only and that struggle they face during their younger age really appreciate it because they are comes out to be a better person and so much talent, skills and intelligent in everything including their solo projects too. They really like into one in everything. They also very humble, kind, caring, understanding of every individual perspective and diversity that hard to find in any group and they can respect the old into a new generation and also they never forget where they come from and always have a heart for everything that is hard to find to any group because they just after to money, fame and their own self only so it's ended up to nothing. BTS Brotherhood the only group that they can share 1 bread and 1 bottle of water even they could buy or asks everything they want and need now because they're already famous and not only in Korea but around the world too...but then they still remains humble that they know that 1 bread and 1 water will be enough to sustain your hungers and thirsts as long as you shared to each others it will be enough, than when you look for the othe countries that kids or children can live even without anything to their mouth eat or drink but still they remain happy and want to live. So even other always think that they are gay group because they support the LGBTQ youth and community they don't care what they think about them because they embraced everyone and they're ambassador of UN Bullying Prevention and beside they really know who they really are and that is the most important things...they don't need to shout out their real gender because their main reason is to express LOVE and that's really important especially nowadays in this world. for a literal two-week old RM stan, this made me sob. I'm so glad it's him I fell first. I feel like I'll love ot7 soon, just like how i stan my other fave artists (BTS will probably the first kpop one tho), but it will always be Namjoon I'll be loyal to. this feels like a validation that my heart was right to know him.

💜🇧🇷💜 RM is such a amazing person and puts everyone in the group before him, and so much sacrifices and ARMY was supposed to be BTS( ( and every members) fandom not a bias fandom. To love your bias you don’t have to ignore the rest of the group members, they are a time and, always will be. I don’t have a bias, just love them so much and I am happy for any of them that get a word and that is recognized for their talent, because the are part of BTS. 💜💜💜💜 thanks for this video

I loved this! I am new ARMY so even though this is older content it is new information to me and I love learning more about the band and the individual members and giving me new leads to follow. I wonder if you think this break to get their time in the military and to focus on solo projects has enabled people to learn the individual members that make up BTS better-not the hardcore fans who have been with them for a long time but newer fans-to see the depth and breadth of their talents? The more I learn about each of them, the more enamored of them -individually and as a group-I become. Thank you for making such wonderful content.
