Well, you've educated me again. Wow. How did you know it cracked? Owners called you, you probably told them before starting project that if any cracks appear to contact you immediately. Yes, I do understand exactly what would happen if water gets under cement. The forklifts I drove at Corning were indoor lifts made to run on smooth surfaces. But, they were driven outside a lot! Many, many times the concrete cracked and no repairs until it was a disaster! This was nice Tom, not a big job but very informative! I'm sorry that 2500 views only generated 568 likes at this time. I'm glad you made this video. I was always wondering how you fix a crack(s) in job you had done. What I find interesting is, again, the way you go about getting it done. The preparation, the adding of the filler and finally the coloring to match the original job. Good work as always. Stay safe.

That crack filler works really good and I had to use it on my driveway. You can't tell where the crack was at after you and Matt repaired it.

I just spent a few hours repairing quite a few cracks in my aggregate driveway. When it was installed, they definitely did not put enough tool or saw cuts in high probability crack locations! I'm dangerous now with my You Tube concrete knowledge:)

try a rubber float to push material in the crack works pretty good!! sponge wipe on a 45 degree angle will leave the material in the crack!!

Can the same method be done to an aggregate driveway? I noticed my brother's beautiful driveway has some small cracks in it, not that he'd notice it, and thought if this method would work I'd seal the cracks up for him and keep water and freezing from making it worse. With all of those post sticking out how on earth could you put enough control joints in to catch all of the crack possibilities ? Nice tip on repairing colored concrete.

TOM, thanks for all your tips, tricks, and 'how ya doo's'! Most all of the control joints in my 4 1/2 to 5in fibercrete pour with rebar grid of 2x3 ft sitting on chairs, have started to crack, concrete pour is 4months old. Will it be ok to hold off till spring to caulk them ? Gonna use Tremco dymonic FC to fill all the joints to keep the debris out. Doubtful this pad will heave. ...Your thoughts??

Great video. I have a newer stamped pad that already has very thin hairline cracks. Is the powder being applied after the crack filler just the coloring powder typically mixed into the concrete being smeared into the crack filler? I would like to match my concrete as best as possible.

Do you recommend a coat of sealer after crack filling? If so, how long before you can do it? Seems like you'd be tracking pigment around without sealing.

HOW DO YOU WARRANTY CONCRETE? DO YOU TELL THEM UP FRONT THAT THERE COULD BE CRACKS DUE TO SHRINKAGE? WERE THEY OK WITH THE REPAIR?

When the sponge gets too much crack sealer, can they be put in a bucket of water to be cleaned later or are they just trash? I have some cracks I need to fix.

How would you go about doing that for exposed aggregate? Every product out there leave gray lines.

Our concrete pad is 6 months old and already has a big crack in it. Just called the contractor. We haven't even had a vehicle on it.
