After seeing the exterior transformation at the cafe and checking in on interior progress we head back to The Chapter house to pour a concrete pad for the hot tub.

We are a couple who are building our own home from the ground up in the mountains of West Virginia. After living near the city our entire lives we finally decided to sell it all, pack up our 3 kids and live in an RV on our 73 acres while we building our own off-grid house and learning to live a more self-reliant life.
Our house build is documented entirely on our main channel "Wild Wonderful Off-Grid". This channel is dedicated to short vlogs showing our life outside the build.

If you don't get the hot tub pad level you can always advertise having a hot tub with a shallow end for the kids and a deep end for the adults lol! ❤❤

It was awesome seeing Josh rough house with Hayden! "All work and no play made Jack a dull boy". So many children don't have fathers or dads that they can bond with in this manner. It's so refreshing to see a family work together as you all do. It's a rare luxury nowadays. God bless you all!

I had to laugh when Josh says to Carter have you got hair on your chest and Carter says I already got hair on my chest and Josh says I doubt it? and Carter surreptitiously looks down his t-shirt to have a look ha ha what a lovely thing to see dad and son joking. Love how you all work together and seeing how those boys have grown up they are so lovely. Have a great day.

If you're not getting gas through to the carburetor, sounds like the needle valve in the carburetor is stuck closed. Sometimes tapping on the side of the carburetor will free up that needle or you have to take the carburetor physically apart. Take the float off and that needle valve comes out

The reality of the situation is that mother nature had other plans but Josh and Erin worked around it! Loved to see the boys rough housing and dad coming up and showing them that Josh still has what it takes to keep them in place. LOL! Erin knew who to call. Nice that the tarp was available to cover up the work when it started pouring. You guys are amazing and a laugh a minute. God bless you and be safe until the next time.

Any good auto mechanic can probably fix that mixer for you. The air filters and pipework are usually industry standard parts on those things because some people use them as part of their toolkit for earning a living; they have to be serviceable. That aside, your entire family continues to be an inspiration. The way you all work and play together is a beautiful thing to see!

Greetings from Brazil. It's so lovely the way my 5 months old baby boy gets calm while I watch your videos. May be it's because you are always "good vibes", may be it's the great music selection. Doesn't really matter. I grew up in a farm, and still do lots of homestead construction here and there, despite of living in the city now. Very inspiring to watch you, while my little boy here can't hold a hammer yet.

Trusty Rusty just needs some TLC, the float inside or jets are blocked or gummed up, take a can of carb cleaner and spray into the fuel intake where hose attaches until its filled up and overflowing, if it doesn't overflow in a few seconds the cleaner has already freed up the stuck valve.. If it does overflow, wait ten minutes and tap on carb with something plastic like screwdriver handle to vibrate or shake valve a bit so cleaner penetrates. Reattach fuel hose and give it another try.. If that doesn't work a carburetor rebuild kit is EASY if you just video your disassembly and replacement of the parts... Erin may enjoy it as a puzzle too !

That`s is pulling out a win! My late uncle inherited a cement mixer mounted on a farm wagon. that original power was a PTO shaft drive. Eventually it had a gas motor installed. You could mix half a yard of concrete per batch. The first time i saw it i was 10, it had more rust than faded yellow paint then. It mixed many yards of concrete in family projects over the decades. The last time i saw it the day of my uncles funeral. Due to road work his funeral procession went right past his farm and his last unfinished project. Thirty years after the first time i saw it!

I have that same mixer, did a 3x15 pad 8 inches thick for my oil tanks , took all day by myself and 53 bags of concrete. Good little homeowner mixer.

watching your family is so wholesome to me. Just everything I never had as a kid and I'm so grateful and happy your kids are experiencing such tremendous parenting and quality family time growing up. Oh and what in the absolute what happened in the few months I wasn't watching?! When did your boys grow up so much?! 😄 Soon they'll all be bearded and tatted just like mom and dad 🥰🥰 (well... minus the beard with mom but you get my point 🤣)
