Amen! God led me to Pastor Jesse when I was seeking God for all truth. I’m so thankful for this ministry! God is so good and faithful to answer us. There is so much deception out there.

Thank you, Pastor Jesse and Trent for this! This verse caused tremendous confusion in my life too but only because I wasn’t reading it in context. Once you see it for what it says, it of course dovetails perfectly into salvation by believing alone. It’s astonishing the confusion Satan and man can bring when they twist scripture and try to add work(s) to the gospel! Thank you for clarifying this!

@@BibleLine also, I had to laugh out loud when Pastor Jesse said about God saying “Ok he believes now! NowI just need him to say the prayer”. I laughed but it’s also sad as so much of the time it’s taught you cannot be saved without saying the sinners prayer. Anyways just wanted to mention that!

The nifb baptists really need to pay attention to this. They are distorting the gospel by claiming it’s by asking Jesus to save you verbally which brings about salvation. Great video brother

The term “heart” in scripture is referring to the mind and the thoughts. The separation of the organs is not something in sight with reference to salvation. One simply needs to believe in Christ for the payment of their sins. Thank you. - Trent

Amen! There are two different types of salvation referenced in Romans 10:10, positional salvation and experiential salvation. The positional salvation (receiving eternal life) being belief unto righteousness. Calling and confessing are works and we are not positionally saved by our works. Therefore, calling and confessing can never save us positionally. That being said, calling and confessing can result in an experiential salvation (different from being saved from going to hell).
@freegracerevival

Can you please explain experiential salvation to me please.
@Hated_Without_A_Cause
@Hated_Without_A_Cause Жыл бұрын
@@freegracerevival Positional salvation is associated with being saved from going to hell. Experiential salvation is associated being saved from other undesirable outcomes. The Bible is very clear that we are not saved from going to hell by our works. However, our works can save us from other undesirable outcomes. Moreover, not every reference to salvation within scripture is about how to go to heaven and avoid hell. Therefore, it is important to apply this knowledge and study Bible context when interpreting scriptural references to salvation. Otherwise, a person could misinterpret and misapply scripture. In which case, a person could falsely add works to the gospel.

I think think this explanation is spot on. I posted a link to this three part-series on a recent video I uploaded on Rom. 10:9-13 kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pNB5ZpSqzNSWXYU.html It seems to me that there could be an initial act of "calling on the Lord" that is synonymous with placing one's faith in Christ as Savior. I do not believe that "calling on the Lord" implies the need to pray a prayer or do anything else in addition to believing on the Lord Jesus Christ. However, there is another aspect of "calling on the Lord" that is something believers must do regularly throughout their lives in order to be delivered from various trials, temptations, and physical dangers. This is one of the most difficult passages in all of Scripture (in my humble opinion). These videos that you did were very helpful. Hopefully, the one that I posted will also be able to assist some people who are struggling with these verses.

Hey mate can I ask why you prefer the King James Version?

We have a few videos from Dr. Bob Gilbert in the past few months called “How we got our Bible” and “Which Bible.” These may help answer it for starters. We do believe the KJV is the closest to the correct original Hebrew and Greek texts. Many modern Bibles come from the texts that were not trusted in their day. Oldest is not always best! - Trent

Amen Brother. Acts 16:31 Period. John 6:47. The simplicity in Christ. Without His perfect righteousness, no one will be saved. Romans 4:6. Romans 8:9. Without the Spirit of God there is no salvation. Ephesians 1:13-14. Our guarantee of eternal life. Ephesians 4:30. And grieve not the Holy Spirit in whom ye are SEALED unto the day of redemption. Any gospel that is not free, is a perverted gospel of works. Romans 6:23. Romans 11:6. There are good works for the believer for rewards in heaven. But good works never saved one person. First Corinthians 3:11-15. And we can be chastened by the Lord, for living in sin, even to taking our life early, but never loss of salvation. That would make God a liar, and God cannot lie. John 5:24. John 6:40. John 6:47. John 10:28-29. Hebrews 13:5. First John 5:13.

How do we know for sure that the word saved isn't referring to eternal life in this particular passage, but We look to other passages and see the word saved and it is referring to eternal life. Such as by grace. You have been saved through faith, and John 3:16, etc
@BibleLine
@BibleLine 6 ай бұрын
You determine such by looking at the context. Romans 9-11 are very specific with Paul desiring to reach the Jews. The idea of confessing verbally aloud is not the idea that saves. Paul wanted them to agree with who Jesus is and what He had done, then he wanted them to believe in Christ. The believing saved. - Trent

Pastor Jesse, I find to often when a solid teacher is teaching about one important subject, then in their explanations then add more confusion or a wrong teaching. This very often happens with the false works salvation teacher. However on the time line of the above video you did the same thing. 4:00 - 5:06 To say you have a new heart and then refer to "1 John 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God." Now turning your message into confusion that turns salvation into a proof of salvation by having no more sin. Yes, you I assume and pastor Arnold have explained this verse in 1 John, I think in other messages, as a new nature, but our old sinful nature is still with us and we will still sin but we need to rely on our faith in Christ. It is his righteousness that saved and keeps us saved, not any of our own law keeping, stopping of any sin. Faith in Christ is our only salvation, faith in what He did for us, who He is. Also the complete new heart is really only fulfilled after we are changed after the rapture. I was ready to pass these messages along to others to unwrap their false salvation systems they cling to, but with a mixed message like this one has become it will not help.. Edit this out, or explain it enough to not add works into salvation proofs, like the Calvinist think....

“Now turning your message into confusion that turns salvation into a proof of salvation by having no more sin.” Jesse did not use 1 John 3:9 as any proofing of anyone’s salvation. The flesh nature (first birth) always sins, but the Spirit birth (second birth from God) cannot sin. The believer has both, and the believer has the total free will to choose to walk according to either one. Regardless of how much sin you do or don’t do does not determine if you’re saved. Your faith in Christ is what saves. Please do not confuse Pastor Jesse. Yankee was even his mentor, and we agree in these doctrines. - Trent

It is more likely that the salvation being discussed in Romans chapter 10, Israel‘s present condition, is that of a temporal nature. Chapter 9 is their past, chapter 11is their future salvation as they endure the events of the tribulation, therefore chapter 10 includes Israel position post rapture needing physical salvation from God‘s wrath. We know, there is more than one salvation in scripture, salvation from any number of temporal conditions.

Hey there! We agree that there are multiple forms of salvation such as a physical salvation. Nevertheless, the context does dictate that Paul is desiring Israel to be saved spiritually. The confession piece is an acknowledgment of Jesus as the Messiah. Israel rejected Jesus as the Messiah, but Paul is pleading with them to acknowledge him as the Messiah and therefore to believe in Him. There is a twofold encouragement for them to also share that message, but salvation comes only by believing. If they never opened their mouth, they would still be saved (assuming they believed…) - Trent
