Wow that's awesome, Jamaican national dish, looks great and even taste great, you are a good cook, the whole process of cooking is carefully done not to make the ackee looks like a scrumbled egg, nice presentation too.

Wow it looks so delicious. It's one of my favorite dishes. Can you give any recommendations for cooking with the can Ackee would you still add the Ackee to the boiling and saltfish and then sauté it ?

The ackee from the can is already cooked so all you have to do is drain off the water properly and add to your pot after you sauté the saltfish!

Y'all believe anything ackee is from Jamaica! West African DON'T eat ackee. Not a single tribe or country. Why on earth would we bring food with us we didn't eat?! Ackee grows all over the Caribbean and in South America. Yet only we Jamaicans eat it. I guess slaves took it and planted it all over here just too look at it, so ridiculous.
