South Louisiana and the coastal/marsh life is something to see. Im from Mississippi but went to LSU and was lucky enough to fish Grand Isle, Morgan City, Cocodrie, Chandeliers etc. Thanks Jared. He represents St. Bernard well.👍

The comment about closing the MRGO outlet and how it positively affected the area is important. Here in Terrebonne Parish below Houma is the Houma Navigational Canal which connects the inter coastal to the Gulf of Mexico. It’s creation was a disaster for the area due to salt water intrusion . Nearly all of the cypress died and the Cheniers all over the area died out. Old Falgout bayou used to look just like the Oak tree canopied bayou yall went down. I used to love going down it in my skiff. Now it’s nonexistent.

These people telling George how to cook crabs the right way sound alot like the people you had to deal with about the white bass even after they got to the table and said they liked the way you cooked the fish and still complained. Some people just don't have any manners . I guess if they aren't happy they really don't want anybody else to enjoy their meal either.

By the by my best alligator snapping turtle was close to 150 libs. A male. The LWDF couldn’t use it and they tried Bass Pro and Cabelas but they already had a breeding male. With all our river systems and fresh water swamps and breaks they are plentiful but very hard and dangerous to catch.
