Dude's doing great. Edit: Apparently, this movie was supposed to serve as a remake of an old Brando flick from the '50s. It just adds a whole new level of bad, that Ice was supposed to be stepping into Brando's shoes.

I remember when this came out on VHS a girl from school invited me over to watch a movie and this is the one she picked. When it was over she asked me what I thought of it. I didn't know how to answer because I cringed the entire movie (this video actually did it more justice than it deserved) and I didn't want to wreck the rest of the night. But I couldn't bring myself to pretend to like it, because I really didn't want to end up dating this girl and end up watching more movies like it. I told her the truth, and she told me that she also didn't care for the movie. We dated for about seven years after that. My take away is this. That night I should have ran and never looked back. That seven years I spent with her were a nightmare that took far too long to wake up from!! Her picking this movie should have been a warning sign. This was far from the last terrible movie I watched with her in that seven years. I think she lied about disliking it. She had a horrible taste in movies. I still remember the night her and I broke up. I put on my saddest face act and walked to my car. She yelled after me that she was so sorry. I couldn't turn around because I didn't want her to see me smile. So young people take my words to heart. If you go on a first date and the love interest has a crappy taste in movies. Take it as a warning. It's not going to get any better.

When I was in 10th grade my best friend used to quote random lines from this movie as if Mr Ice was indeed as cool as he believed himself to be. I'm so happy as an adult woman that I had not seen the movie at the time and didn't need to go along with the joke. It would have crushed my soul and disfigured my dignity.

He knows it's a little silly. But he owns it. and you can bust his balls about it. It's kind of what makes him a cool dude. Not stuck up about it. He owns a wildly successful construction company in my area. And if you threw a party or having a karaoke night or something and you threw him a mic and told him to go Bust a Move, he will. I have personally witnessed him bring the house down. People lose their minds..
