New Zealand or Australian canned corned beef with onion or garlic, or the fresh corned beef brisket with potatoes and cabbage, I’ll make the corned beef hash patties with the US version canned corn beef.

I prefer HP sauce or fruity brown sauce with corned beef if I'm eating it as part of a British dish. Chilli oil if I'm eating it with garlic rice & egg / indo mie noodles & egg

My mom and I typically eat..MANY things with rice😂 I must ask though, the canned corned beef, or maybe it’s a different beef, how would you cook it? My mom said growing up in the Philippines, she would slice it, dip it in egg, then fry it and eat it with rice

That could be luncheon meat, not corned beef. Luncheon meat is like Spam. Some cook it that way. For canned corned beef, we usually saute it in garlic, onion, and tomatoes. As with most Fil food, we eat it with rice.

Another classic British dish is pie and mash with liquor, the liquor is not alcoholic is just called that Tbh I hate liquor and prefer it with good ol' gravy

We have a UK section in our supermarket with items from Tesco. One thing I saw was « brown sauce ». Maybe you will have a chance to try it when you’re there. I’m curious if it’s like gravy

She actually did try it in this video - the HP sauce! HP sauce is a brand of brown sauce :) In terms of taste, the closest thing I can compare it to is barbeque sauce but maybe slightly tangier? Hope that helps with the curiosity!
