I think these are so fun and unique and interesting and I simply can't wait to get to do more with them. I got my first corset piercing this year & it was a phenomenal experience! I got them down my side & it was a dream come true about 15 years in the making. I never thought I’d get the opportunity so my heart just about exploded when I got the chance to get it done. It was for an art show with 4 other corset models and we had a blast! I’ll be doing one on my leg later this year for my 2 year self harm free anniversary cuz that’s where I harmed. Definitely an emotional ride! Can’t wait to do it again.

More play piercing content please! I love seeing the resurgence. Sometimes I just want to get pierced without having to commit to healing it 😅 Thankfully I have some trusted piercers and apprentices in my area who are so excited to stab me in the name of art and ritual.

Such sweet memories back in the early 2000s as a teen searching body mod forums and KZfaq vids trying to find as much as I could on play piercings incl. corset piercings. ❤ loved this reminder and love that they’re making a comeback:)

You just gave me the best idea. I have been wanting these for so long on my legs, and I often wear thighs so I think it could work to pierce the thighs with rings and lace it on it, rather than doing it on the skin

Can you please do an aftercare video on how to care for your wounds after taking out a play piercing, especially when you’re traveling and at an event where the environment may not be clean or easy to control? Like if you’re staying at a hotel, should you bring your own sheets to make sure nothing‘s going to touch your wound? Should you bandage it temporarily? I know you’ve gone into aftercare in this video, but I’m sure there are a lot of other questions you could answer too that would be so helpful ❤

okay but this could be sooo cool as an ear project!! like with a thinner ribbon and idk what jewellery,, depends on placement i guess. and obv aafter it heals no one want ribbon tentioned on a healing cartilage

You do! In most cases. If it’s just needles those are usually safely disposed of.

Beautiful! I would love to hear more about your thoughts on scarrification (done on purpose!) I have seen some that look really cool but the care process for healing it so it doesn't heal over seems like a lot of work and also painful

I did permanent or long term corset piercings with surface to surface barbells with slave rings on each ball from Industrial Strength. They worked fine. Also can be done with surface anchors with a slave ring, just change the ball to a gem after an event. I like how you did some just for the video, i would do something like that for a fun video. I can certainly seen people having issues with them when they leave the slave ring ball on all the time. I did let the know they really shouldn't be worn for more than 3 to 5 days. Fun times.

There is SO much documentation of those surface bar corsets migrating and leaving severe scarring. It’s been discussed over and over on BME and the learning forums. Surface bars in general are long term temporary and generally only have a 1-5 year lifespan. Surface piercings are not permanent. Trying to advertise this as permanent to clients despite the literal mountains of evidence we have to the contrary is unethical.

@@Lynn_Loheide most of my clients didn't keep them after a few days they can get in the way of a lot of things. Is BMEzine still around? I thought they shut down.

@@punkydudester3 I wouldn’t consider taking them out after a few days permanent then. If someone can keep something for 25-30 years I’ll consider that permanent. We have no documentation of that ever happening with a corset, so I think it’s misleading to ever call it permanent. We can still access some parts of it, and nefarious, Shannon’s daughter, is bringing it back. :)

i LOVE corset piercings but obviously u can't keep them long so as an alternative I'm planning on getting tattoos of them done in black and white on the backs of my legs which i think is a safe alternative

I don't know if you've covered it before, and I can't remember what it's called, but I'd be interested in a video about people who get the big piercings in their upper back and hang from whatever. I don't think I'd ever want to do it myself (especially since I have hEDS lol), but it's always piqued my curiosity. I've never gotten around to going on a deep dive about it, but I trust your info!

does the ribbon get autoclaved as well? or is just a regular ribbon? is there an infection chance from the ribbon?

This particular ribbon can’t be safely autoclaved. Rather it’s disinfected and properly stored. Some ribbon and chains can be autoclaved however! With proper practice and care there’s no infection risk from ribbon used to lace corsets.

Hey, I had my lobes dermal punched at 6mm then tapered up to 8mm to stop the bleeding. I did this to get rid of the scar tissue from improper stretching and bad placement (dumb decisions in my teens). Since I had this done a few years ago i've gone up to 35mm, downsized for like a year at a time, stretched back up etc. etc. My problem is they stretch too easily. Even if I sleep with them out every night which tightens them right back up, if I wear stone my plugs will be falling out by lunchtime. Does anyone have any advice? My lobes are so thick, if they were any thicker i'd need custom plugs, at least for my left lobe. The right one still isn't placed perfectly and is a little thinner in one spot, but by no means is it thin, and scalpelling would be overkill. Would teardrop plugs help solve this? Those are my two questions, thanks :)

You probably need custom wearables! My lobes are also fairly thick and any “standard” type wearables fall out suuuuper easily.
