It was very interesting to me to see that virtually all of these guys used the "Hybrid" picking method but then comes Glen- WOW- he did it mostly with just a flat pick. Glen Campbell was awesome. I saw him, Roy Clark, Jerry Reed, Johnny Cash and some others at the Indiana State Fair one year...musta been 1972 but coulda been before or after. Talk about some guitar pickin goin on! Carl Perkins was playing for Johnny and at one point Roy and Jerry were on stage together trading licks. But just like in this video collection, Glen shined above the rest. What a player! All these folks are great though...music is not a competition...all is subjective.

I love almost all of these cats but that Brad Paisley solo was a train wreck.

that's because the song was supposed to represent a time warp (hence the name of the song). It's probably a very technical piece, but I'm not a huge fan of it either.

Redd Volkeart for the win,, he's also the guy here with the best tone, Vince Gill also stands out as does Danny Gatton , I like that Roy nicols has a lil more dirt in his tone than everybody else, Steve Warner man I'd love to hear him play some straight up jazz
