When Chase told me they built this awesome skoolie in 4 months I didn't believe him. This awesome couple did an amazing job tackling this skoolie build and turned it into a fantastic tiny home on wheels!

Seems to be working for me? If you want a fully detailed tour this is the place. If not there is TONS of other great channels out there.

@@TinyHomeTours I follow more then a few of those channels. And, trust me, arround 20mins is right on the spot to show and explain all the stuff and not to choke ppl with irrelevant details. But if this works for you, then it works for you. For me, personaly, 1h is too long to spend on 1 subject/object. That is a lenght of a full documentary. Best wishes for future work. .

I like the length. I am an inexperienced skoolie builder. These videos are very helpful, from beginning to end. This video in particular was helpful in terms of what the costs of not doing custom work. Looks like I am in big trouble! I would guess that the idea behind the channel is not just a tiny house tour per say, but about building a skoolie. Considering that most are self-built, we learn from one another. Keep up the great work Chris. I am learning, affirming some decisions I made and worrying all at the same time. A video idea, a detailed video of the different bus options, from Thomas to Crown, engines, transmissions, FE, RE, brakes, parts, length and use, etc. from the builders. We need this information prior to purchasing.

Personally, I loved the length. If there was a bit I wasn't interested in, there's this really cool feature that KZfaq allows, where you can skip ahead in the video. Also this really awesome feature where you can see the length of the video before clicking on it, so you don't have to click on the video to begin with. THT, please continue to release these detailed videos! They're incredibly informative and entertaining!

I appreciated the 'what I would do better next time' and 'this was a mistake' advice the homeowners gave as they 'walked' the audience through their build. It's very easy to see how their choices suit them, as well as what bits and pieces I might have done differently. I really liked the time codes in the intro; a clever way to let people pick and choose what they want to see. Thanks.

To save water, you may consider installing another water pump connected to your gray water tank to flush your toilet. You will accomplish 2 things, you won't waste fresh water and you will make more room in your gray water tank. General speaking your gray water should be basically clean as most of it will come from your showers. It will be a win win. Good Luck

Love the closet space [The natural color of yhe wood is pretty and may just need a clear stain to seal it] I also love the style & roominess of the bathroom. A lot of comments about the length. for me, it's not the "length" so much as it is about the content. Some videos have people who talk, talk, talk, talk about things that have nothing to do with the build and spend little time on the actual bus/rv/tiny house.some give too much minutia detail about things such as the bathroom sink. I like this couple- they explain their choices without being boring.

For our guest cabin near yellowstone, we used a small woodstove and we found that once the fire produced coals, if we put a large chunk of coal inside, it would slow burn and keep the cabin warm all through the night. Sometimes we would wake up in the middle of the night and take the coal out because it got so warm, and that was in deep snow season. We would reuse the same large chunk of coal (Not charcoal) for weeks

Chase and Maria, thanks so much for sharing your beautiful bus with us. While a bus would not be practical for me at this time in my life, I love the possibilities that make it far more convenient than a tiny home. Your floor plan, the furniture layout, the additional storage, the gorgeous bathroom, and that amazing Cascade Green is extremely inviting. That color looks exactly like our Cascade Mountain Range's tiny new leaves on fir trees each Spring. Just walking inside (via your video) and seeing the first view of the interior, I instantly felt at home. The other rschool bus conversion I've seen that produces a similar feeling is Charlie Kern's, which has the same feeling and cleverness as yours, yet rustic. It was a pleasure to watch and listen to your story in building your home.

Beautiful serene home. Rocking on the sewing! (It's FUN!) And you're learning from your choices, which is just exactly right. But! please don't velcro or attach anything to your kitchen countertop -- it's so difficult to remove, and it would be heartbreaking to destroy that lovely countertop. Maybe put up window boxes for your herbs and other little things, attaching to outside walls instead? You'll figure out what's right for you, I know. Enjoy! :)

But like you said, there IS a cure for all the butt hurt viewers who can't resist poisoning commentaries. *Watch* something ELSE instead, please. The crazy thing is that there is a fast forward/skip feature as well. It's like, "OMG, you're making me have to skip through this video and work so much harder". Really ? I change my vote from earlier. This is the best bus all around. Focus on the bathrooms and kitchens first like these smart people.

Adorable couple. Thanks for sharing your conversion. Nice ideas, like colors, and the splash of yellow does nicely in the living room.

Gorgeous! Gotta say, if it were mine, I would be looking for a rollout canopy for the right side. And....very happy to see all those mirrors.

Hi....use a bungee cord to wrap around your makeup cabinet when travelling. Won’t take up storage space when not on the road.

That color of the outside - "Cascade Green" in 1991 was called "Aspen Meadow" that helped me cover paneling in a den. I love it!

For your drawers on your makeup shelf, you can screw a bungee cord onto the floor in front, and put a hook at the top. Bungee it shut when traveling and then not when stationary! Easy. Nice job.
