Cream of Mushroom Recipe 蘑菇浓汤食谱 | Western Soup recipes | Simple Soup Recipes | 西式浓汤食谱
Hey everyone, welcome back to another episode of G8stromania. For this episode, we will be sharing a recipe on Cream of Mushroom. It's a surprisingly easy to make recipe, and is a perfect starter! For this recipe, you will need the follolwing ingredients:
450g brown cap mushrooms
1 potato
1 onion
4 cloves of garlic
40g butter
250g chicken stock
200ml cooking cream
400ml of water
Black pepper powder and salt to taste
Baguette (Optional)
Steps:
1. Melt butter at low heat
2. Caramelise onions.
3. Fry garlics until fragrant
4. Add potato and mushrooms
5. Add chicken stock when the mushrooms get soft
6. Add half of the water (200ml)
7. Boil for 10 mins.
8. Season the soup, and transfer to a blender
9. Blend but not too finely, then transfer back into pot
10. Add cooking cream and let it reach a boil.
11. Season and taste.
12. Ready to serve with toasted Baguette.
