Pork Loin with bone - seasoned with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
RECIPE:
4 Pork Loins (I did with bone - you can do without bone)
Oil for frying - I used light olive oil. You can also use peanut oil.
Salt
Pepper
Garlic Powder
1 cup flour, 1 Box of Panko Breadcrumbs(you will need most of it but not all) & 2 Eggs
METHOD:
Wash meat and season with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Let marinade for at least 30 minutes.
Set up dishes with flour, beaten eggs and Panko Breadcrumbs. Panko Japanese Breadcrumbs is best because it give you that extra crispiness.
Bread pork loins with flour, make sure it is fully covered with flour, put floured pork loin into egg mixture as demonstrated in video, then put it into breadcrumbs and pat down firmly to make sure the breadcrumbs adhered fully pork loin. Heat oil in frying pan. Test temperature of oil with a bit of flour by sprinkling in oil. If it sizzles, then you can put pork cutlet in pan to begin frying. Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side on medium/high heat. You should have a beautiful golden color pork cutlet.
If you wish you can place cutlets on sheet pan and put in oven after frying at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Or you can continue to fry for an extra 5 minutes on medium. Enjoy!
Tonkatsu Sauce:
In a bowl, add: 1/4 cup ketchup, 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce, 1/4 cup soy sauce, 2 tablespoons honey, and 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger. This sauce is truly delectable.
