It’s astonishing how everytime he interacts with someone there’s a sense of un-ease. And it tends to always be rather dark on screen when he’s in a solo frame. Almost like foreshadowing

Personality wise, he definitely has a bountyhunter feel. I’d even say that he may have been close to the original Jango Fett.

If someone said this is how Jango Fett behaved, I’d believe it, because Crosshairs has a cold and ruthless personality with the mindset of getting the job done completely, like most bounty hunters.

I’m here after watching the series finale of the bad batch. I never would’ve thought my least favorite bad batcher from the clone wars arc would become one of my favorite characters in the entire Star Wars saga but here we are. His character development was heartbreaking

@@heyhey439 One of the few fans who admit just one of Hunter's missteps. Thank You. Forgetting/never having a plan to help Crosshair in any way (other than pleading with him) was Huge. And it was always disappointing & frustrating as well, when our Batchers would always find the time & have the resources to help or rescue everyone else; sometimes complete strangers. Cross is their brother & squad mate. You would have thought that Hunter's first priority/mission would have been to extract him from the Empire's clutches. Before heavy brainwashing could take hold. I believe it would have been a very different situation, had they rescued him earlier on. Instead of the situation all our Batchers found themselves in Episodes 14, 15 & the Season finale. The biggest plus of course, being the removal of his chip. Which would have taken place in the Episode, Battle Scars. So yeah, I still blame Hunter a little for that. Crosshair was done dirty by Tarkin & his Empire. Period. All the killing fans speak of were done while he still had his chip. But I believe he STILL has it. Why would Filoni continually show him touching his head in obvious pain. He's not grimacing because he's angry, please people. Pay attention a little more.

@@clankers8929 Yeah. I totally get why it would be very nearly impossible to succeed at capturing someone as competent as Crosshair from the Empire but... The fact that it wasn't even brought up at all. Like they only mentioned the hope of having him back one time and it was Wrecker missing him and Omega being optimistic. The finale just sealed in the fact that Hunter didn't seem to care at all what happened to Cross and even scowling at him when he saved Omega? Also, I don't buy for one moment that Crosshair's chip is out. It's for sure compromised cause he keeps 'missing'. I think the writers were pushing that his chip is still in so he can get a redemption of sorts in the next season. That's what I'm hoping at least. I hope he gets to leave the Empire and either Hunter reconciles with him or Cross goes off on his own and becomes like a bounty hunter or something.

Tbh if anyone were to understand exactly where to shoot Wrecker and make it look convincing without actually hurting him it would be Crosshair. Idk I think he still had his chip but he's pulling every string he can in there to keep his family safe. Just wish they'd do the same.

He still is friend. Remember he only did the out of character violence AFTER his chip activated, plus Moff Tarkin enhanced Crosshair's chip on Kamino. It was only AFTER this amplification that he earnestly hunts down Saw Gerrera's rebels. Let's hope Cross makes his way (albeit painfully slow) back to the Batch. I honestly think he will. As another fan pointed out, in Kamino Lost, he contradicts himself through out the entire episode. As the old adage states: actions speak louder than words.

The small gesture from Crosshair on 2:35. Something tells me, he didn't just remove his chip. And overall way more positive attitude towards everything, even while still being nasty. Him saying"This is who I am" is lying to himself to en extent.

At first I thought Crosshair was an asshole, but after watching the Bad Batch, it seems there is more to him than meets the eye. He probably feels alienated from the other clones, which is understandable. It is likely that he was jealous of the other Clone troopers that it caused him to feel bitter and even betrayed. Though he found a family in Clone Force 99 cause they were different like him. I like how the new series seems to explore that part of himself, making him one of the most complex characters in Star Wars media. After all this, I see the humanity in the character. He cleary still loves his brothers, but there is a side of him that feels bitter and even angry that we can't help, but feel sorry for him.

- You left him for dead. - I had no choice! You hear me?! - Oh, I don't blame you. I would have left him for dead, too. Wow, just wow. That was such a dirty burn. Then again, most Regs were mean to Crosshair and he probably assumed that Echo was no better. Let alone disposable. But what fascinates me most, is that Rex loses his patience over that insult, despite usually being calm. I assume this is because he never saw how other Regs treated Crosshair but he saw how Crosshair treated the Regs. So Rex likely thought that Crosshair just likes being mean for the sake of being mean. Thus, we have mean Regs, who alienate Crosshair, who then ends up alienating even the friendly Regs :(
