WELCOME TO OUR NEW WEELKY SERIES!
Every week, Jonas and I will be reviewing the entire menu at at crumbl cookies and sharing part of our date night with you! Just started something we loved doing late at night after we put our kids to sleep. We have so much fun doing this that we thought it would also be fun to share it with you guys!
We recorded this about 10 feet away from our sleeping baby, so I apologize in advance for how quiet this is. Next week, we'll go downstairs and record where we can actually speak at a normal volume 😂
We are not affiliated with crumbl cookies in any way. These are our (very) honest reviews of the entire menu!

Oliver was about 10 feet from us sleeping in his bassinet in the closet (his usual sleeping place because it’s close but not too close to us - he’s safe in there I promise) hahaha so we had to be really quiet

@@areldia225essentially it’s like word association but both of you are supposed to say a word at the same time and you’re both supposed to pick a new word based on what the other person says until you both say the same word. Like you start with random words and somehow both end up meeting in the middle!

@@meg.pleaseOOOOOOO YESSSS. one time we got a dozen toffee chocolate chip cookies from the bakery at Walmart and I’m not joking they were the best cookies I’ve ever eaten in my life. They had NO business being that good. A dozen for like $5, my entire life was made 😂

This, this is how a healthy relationship looks and it’s very clearly that. You’re with your best friend who makes you laugh, gets your jokes, understands your gestures and facial expressions, understands this has to be quiet enough to not wake the children, and clearly supportive of one another and their opinions. Solid. ❤ It brings me joy to just watch it. Like I’m actually smiling at this very moment, because it’s so clear how much they love and understand one another.

I don’t want to be one of those weirdos who share random advice on the internet, but I guess I am. But that’s just because it’s helped me with my own anxiety and PTSD. There is a technique which isn’t necessarily the easiest when you’re in the thick of it but can help gradually bring you out of an attack. I’m sure millions of other people have heard of it or know of it to, maybe even you do. But I’ll share it just in case you don’t. Also, if you need to ask someone you’re close to if there is someone around during these to ask you to do this with them. First, look around the room and name 5 things you can see. Second, name 4 things you can hear in the space you’re in. Third, name 3 things you are touching? Fourth, name 2 things you can smell? And fifth, what is one thing you are currently able to taste? This brings you back into the space around you and uses your senses to focus on those things going on and having the ability to focus on those things to be able to name them takes your mind away somewhat from the thing causing or at the very least the thing that is worsening that anxiety attack. It’s not easy, but focus on your breathing and try to get out of your own head and body by acknowledging things around you with your senses. It won’t move mountains, but it is a small technique, tool, or trick whatever you want to call it to help bring you out of where you’re at mentally. I hope this helps even just a little bit, and remember you’re not alone.

You can make homemade cookies that are a million times better. The key is to refrigerate your dough overnight. To make them big you just roll them into a giant ball (I weigh them to be about 100 g) and flatten the top slightly when you put it on the pan. The icing artist did a great video about this.

I've learned to enjoy SOME of them SOMETIMES but they have to be done super right and it's kind of a grandma e thing for me, nostalgia but I didn't appreciate it till I grew up. But yes I agree why do lemon when there's .... Raspberry.... Blueberry... Even grape. Chocolate and vanilla though, why need more?

Y'all are so cute together! I'm also very impressed that y'all can just let go and relax. I'm 5.5 months postpartum with my second and it feels like we're still halfway in survival mode as my 2.5 year old still doesn't sleep through the night on his own. This gives me hope that one day, ONE DAY, we'll be back to our fun old selves. So thank you!!
