1:15 Those are removable swaybar links for rock crawling. They absolutely are NOT the cause of the steering issue, but being offset indicates that something is off centre (probably bent trackbar or tie rod). I'm more shocked that that tech seems to think they are the problem!

because to a regular tech they seem sus. ignorant of 4x4 stuff. Dont take ur jeep to a regular mechanic for suspension stuff or alignments after you modify your rig

@@rickjames5998 Just plain ignorant if they think that the swaybar affects steering alignment, though. (He may not, but the wording he used makes it seem that way.) But ignorance can be educated! Let's hope he is soon.

Lada's were noted for chain issues, the chain would get loose and grab the slider, destroying it. You ended up in many cases with a snapped chain, lots of debris in the pan and much more damage. Datsuns had an issue where the tensioner would lose oil pressure while parked and go slack; on restart, the oil pressure would pop it onto the chain and snap the chain. 1:58 that is one expensive malted.

That transmission one at 1:00 is why (way when ago when I did my own work) I would use white cardboard for under the car after the job was down while the car was running. Easy to spot colors of fluids that should NOT be on the cardboard.

Naw its just a car repair - throw in some big mechanical words, swear about the warrantee not covering, she will not think twice about it. Im to afraid to cheat on the old lady, but I have spent $12k and blamed it on a car repair.

My Impala suffers from the same thing lol.. But it cost to much to fix, so I just deal with it lol! For those who are curious, it only pops off when it gets slammed into park lol

I had a trailblazer that looked a lot like that, it was a plastic bushing and metal retainer - got them from the help section wasnt more then $10. It would pop off mainly if you shifted it hard into a gear or into park. May check it out, I got tired of reaching under it and pusing it back on.

@tomr3422 I'll check it out. I tried using a C-clip to lock it in. But it didn't last long 😂 but I'm really gentle when shifting into gears. Minus park from time to time.

For the clip at 3:48, does anyone know what that noise is? The video uploader titled the clip as “most likely the blower motor is done,” but my 2004 4Runner made this noise before and after we replaced the blower motor.

i have 2 lexus 1 that does it. es300 has 4 chimes then i start the car. gs300 has this noise for the same amount of time. im guessing the chime/sound is worn out

Something wrong with the alternator clip reminds me of a van that had the alternator replaced and promptly cooked the battery. The internal regulator in the new alternator was defective and was charging at about 17 volts. The battery was boiling and it didn't even make it through the morning before it was dead. Another situation I remember was a van that every time the battery failed it would take out the alternator. After the third time, we started changing both together. Otherwise the alternator would fail about a week after the battery. I had the same problem with my 89 Escort. The rectifier plate was a weak link in the Ford alternators of the late 80's and early 90's.

at the 4 minute mark with blower motor my 2011 sante fe sounds like that but its gets small hard dried leaves in the blower just remove cabin air filter and clean out blower fan.

To be fair it might be, that it was repaired some time ago and those wrappings actually "fixed" it at that time, but offcourse the exhaust got worse over time. Exhaust should have been changed when the first hole started to appear....If there is one place where it is 100% worn through, you can bet there are a lot more where it is only 99% worn through right now.

I build jeeps for crawling and off road 1 you don’t need either front or rear sway bar 2 the sway bar is installed with two U Mounts with rubber bushings so it’ll slide left and right to find it’s center So no the sway bar doesn’t affect stearing much in reality unless it’s so terrible it’s rubbing inside tire if that’s happening read tip one
