Don't get me wrong - I don't think Morrigan is all that bad. I had my Warden friend her and constantly gave her the benefit of the doubt. But I still think she's manipulative given she forces you to kill her mother, even though at the end she plans to make use of the same ritual her mother taught her. If you kill her mother, what reason did she have at the time to do the ritual in the first place? I think there are gaps in the reasoning she hasn't filled yet. I'm looking for answers in the next game.

Ashe | Lady Insanity "If you kill her mother, what reason did she have at the time to do the ritual in the first place?" if im not wrong Morrigan does say (during the events in dao) something along the lines that she knows that her mother will not die even if the warden killed her as she isnt as easy to kill but doing this will slow her down thereby giving Morrigan time to escape and y i guess she wanted/needed the Mirror (weather the ritual/god child is connected to her escaping or not ill leave that to experts who have read the comics that connect the games and double the understanding of the person ^_^ )...also we do see flemeth in da2 (i GUESS that would say that she never really died..unless its not the felmeth from DAO that is ^_^ ) but yes i would agree abt her being 'manipulative' :)

John Conner not truely sure about this but....since Morrigan is being talked about a lot in DAI my guess is that she doesn't get a fatal wound rather just a wound and she survives coz while being wounded she also enters the mirror (which, entering, she was anyways going to do ^_^ ) coz i too have a playthrough where warden stabs her...and also since she is not only the most talked character of DAI but also important to DAI events (if im not wrong of what i heard)..:P but heres to hoping that she is rather fatally wounded and dies ^_^

I don't think it's selfish to find a way to fight for your life, or manipulative to ask someone you trust for help. As for the ritual I did ask myself the same question, the bad part in my opinion is that the Warden can't read Flemeth's tome or grimoire to find answers so he/she has to rely on what Morrigan says even if her words might be half truths or full lies. The baby isn't cannon from what I gather, but given it's a very popular choice among people its birth and existence will have a great impact on the world.

I can't remember exactly what Morrigan said or what Flemeth said. But from memory, it went something like this: Morrigan: There's rituals in this book that show how to take over the body of another person. I assume/believe this is what Flemeth has in store for me. Flemeth: That Grimoire may or may not be a fake. I was wondering when Morrigan would get around to trying to have me killed. My perception coming away from DA:O was that it was intentionally vague as to what was actually going on. Morrigan could have been sincere but mistaken. Just because those rituals are in the book doesn't mean that Flemeth intended to use them on her. Or even that Flemeth even intended to use them at all. If Flemeth is innately immortal, then including such a ritual in her grimoire could be a useful feint for tricking people into misunderstanding who and what she really is. Morrigan could have been speculating with true facts to achieve a desired conclusion that could convince the Warden to kill Flemeth. Morrigan could have been outright lying - we only have Morrigan's word for it that a body-swap ritual is even in the Grimoire. From memory, when I confronted Flemeth she implied that the Grimoire was faked or misleading somehow - but that Morrigan's attempt to have Flemeth killed was expected. Both Morrigan and Flemeth could have a hundred ulterior motives for _breathing_. I don't trust a damn thing either of them say about anything. Even the truth can be used in the service of deception.

Yeah he did say she wasn't a teenager in DAI and a few devs gave the 20-30 age range for her which would put her 31-41 maybe a little older since it takes place slightly over 10 years after the end of the blight.

woulden't that mean that the Warden/Hero of Ferelden is still alive or should be alive? considering that a Warden's life span is 30 years

In her conversations with Wynne, yes. But Wynne thinks "Leliana is a kind soul, guileless." which seems to imply she thinks Leliana is rather young and not all that worldly. Neither are true. So she's older, but not that old. I'm also aware of the dev's saying Morrigan is about that age range, but like with Wynne's age it doesn't quite fit with me. It's all well and good for canon, but how I experience the story usually has slight changes and not all of them are consistent across multiple playthroughs.

Maples01 I believe the mages should be kept in the circle for there own protection and the protection of others. Trouble with the circle seems to only arise. When the law starts tightening there grip on the mages. So, I believe mages should be shown more respect than they currently are given. Templars who abuse mages should be strictly disciplined. Anders take on the subject of mages is a position I am highly opposed to. A position of our oppression justifies anything we do. Is the same as communities in the real world. Who are guilty of "Whiteyism". Basically, it is a hostility toward white people. Which seems to occur almost exclusively in almost all black communities. If a black man in one of those communities calls you a racist for any reason. A term they are quite loose with. To the point of demanding special treatment for being black. Those who here this will most likely assault you. Basically, black people in these communities. Behave like the stereotype there ancestors were branded with and use that as justification for there actions.

There were many outside the tower, I helped the circle of magi throughout the game. Just because you have the ability to do magic should imprison you for life, the chantry ruled with an iron fist, even drugged their templars, makes them out to be nothing more than control freaks

Maples01 Templars were given Lyrium to allow them to do there jobs properly. Though, it was a form of control as well. Repeated situations proves all Mages should be in the chantry. They are second class citizens. Employed by few and live meager lives outside of the chantry. This means the Mages have to be treated equally with caution to allow them to exist with dignity outside of the Chantry. Or, the current way of things happens. Many people joining gangs and engaging in illegal activities to survive. Personally, I'm with Orsino and Wynne on this one. Mages should be allowed to live freely. As long as they use there powers to serve man and not rule him.

in Inquisition Story, without choosing any preoptions, morrigan has no child, because the hero of ferelden was a female elf. you know what would be REALLY mindfucking? if the character in DA:4 would be the Grey warden himself. heared that there will be maybe a "suprise" about a playable character. i know, there are no evidences for a theory like this, but just think a Little bit of it. there are so many different ways to choose. how can they ´reintroduce a character with so many chooseable desicions without make him/her the main character again? Hawke was no Problem to be reintroduced, he only could be played as human, for the Story it made more sense to make him/her a mage (in Inquisition) his father also was a mage. they have only two believeable Options: kill him/her or bring him/her back as THE hero. they could use Background storries again in a other way. DA 4 could start as a short backflash, choosing diffrent desicions of origins. i don´t see the hero of ferelden returning in the game like Hawke did, because there are too many ways, how should they desing him/her? dwarf, elf or human? male female? mage warrior Rouge? black hair, blonde hair, Brown, Grey or White hair, or even red? no i don´t think they will do a Thing like this. the biggest Problem with this theory is the age of the charater, he maybe would be to matured, perhaps they make a questline inwith yozu hunt his past without seeing/meeting him/her.

The second is exactly what you did, you only have to sleep with Morrigan one time in the game and she will get pregnant with your child which is also a son. This is only possible with a male warden romance or not and slept with her at least one or more times over the course of the game and refused to do the ritual. While I won't discuss how the Dark Ritual decision will affect future games, I can say (and have said) that the choice won't be ignored-- it's pretty fundamental. Well normalish the baby will still have some of the taint in him, possibly be a mage, most likely be the grandson of a freaking dragon (aka Flemeth), and depending on the warden an elf/human dwarf/human hybrid. Even with out the soul of an archdemon that kid will still have issues.

guitarwhelp Urthemiel was the name of the Arch-demon the Warden killed, and its soul entered Morrigan's child. So she must have named it after the dragon. Loghain can participate in the ritual if he is made a Grey Warden.... Why would you want a video of that lol!?

You mean this dialogue from witch hunt, where she says that the child is a he if you ask the right question. Morrigan: He is safe, and beyond your reach. All you need know is that the child is an innocent. He knows nothing of the destiny that lies before him. Uh the Archdemon's name is Urthemiel the dragon of beauty, and he's male, and so are the other old gods, not ogb's name and i'm kinda confused how you didn't recognize the archdemons name. What I meant was both of them are male. Gaider confirmed that both the ogb and non ogb can only be male and lol that's what that quote says along with the link to where he it.
