Oooh this was fun and interesting! Would you consider doing a video on making a vintage/historic style more dark? Like I've recently realised that i suit 1920s into 1930s makeup and i like the general vibe of the eras but am not sure how to start combining it with a dark aesthetic. I dont want to dress full vintage as i like aspects of modern style as well, and I'm way too curvy for 1920s silhoettes. Just not sure how to bring it all together now ive worked out what I like!

Yes I would love to! Because I had that same issue when I was going for a 1950s style since just wearing black made it feel quite modern & also a lot of true vintage pieces come in very light hues so this is such a great topic to cover

Love this approach! In another video you mention pamela anderson as a ref, and this insight lives rent free in my head since then. 😂 I doubt even our blood is the same color and still, im now checking her styling from a [natural] perspective.

i love this video so much, i actually had never watched gilmore girls, but, as always, you are explaining so eloquently good about how to put a spin on her style, we can tell you are very passionate about it! i personally am striving to achieve a shoujo main character girl style but kind of darker, so i hope to take some inspiration here too, love your job 🤍🌸🖤

I love this video concept!! I think there's a lot of crossover between Buffy and Lorelai's style :D that kind of structured leather jacket plus tall boots with midi skirts, long sleeve fitted tops and printed girly tops, and even kerchiefs in their hair on occasion! also your goodwill looks like it has some amazing selection i gasped when i saw that camisole when you were browsing the racks. ❤ I think my favorite character to dress like is Sabrina, both the classic and the new show but especially the 90s version. The whimsigoth and the dark academia together, chefs kiss.
