@@niapurdue230 Mythology,folklore, and stories mostly travel by trade during the time of the Silk Road which was a “golden age for trade “ So countries/kingdoms who affected trade the most such as India and China were affected the most by other countries by their mythology but African and European mythology was affected by Asian mythology such as Greek Norse mythology by that point had died down or was mostly in Northern Europe where there was no trade by Asia Egyptian mythology has brief mentions of Asia due to the wars caused by the Roman Empire which connected the 3 continents by trade and war

The divide is for gameplay reasons, so you can know which legendary pokemon are from events and which are catchable, also for balancing trades and competitive play, I don't know if there are more reasons tho

@@sackfire2986 it gets even murkier because several mythicals should have been reclassified as legendary such as deoxys or magearna after becoming conventionally available. ive even still got the 'games' to acquire some of the gen3 mythicals which could be seen as another complication to the classification and then there is the wild card of phione who doesnt fit neatly into any category ultimately it really is only an availability issue

11:03 Just tossing this out, in Nordic nations, a majority of those who were hunted as witches were actually men This might be minor in the full scale of things, or Cresselia stuff is based on the stereotypical 'witches are women' kinda thing. But in Iceland 90% were men, 70% in Finland and 60% in Estonia (well according to wiki. I got this thought brought back to my head. Read on it during my time of consuming history for exams and found it really interesting that the school history book mentioned the majority of Nordic witch accused having been older men. So that's cool)

Well, Harmonia is the goddess of harmony who later was turned into a serpent (either a snake or dragon depending on who you ask). And that happened because her uncle/ex-stepfather Hephaestus gave her a cursed necklace. Her husband also killed a dragon who was either sacred to her dad or her half-brother. And she only got married to him because her horny grandpa was trying to cover his tracks (Harmonia's hubby was Europa's brother). So yeah, there does seem to be some inspiration.

I know that following the idea of the Delta Episode might lead to a Giratina-themed Episode for BDSP, but... a part of me has been hoping we get a Cresselia and Darkrai Episode instead. 4:16 I think you mean the moon is on an inclined orbit, which just so happens to be lined up with the equator of the earth which is also tilted. It's orbit is tilted so in order for the earths shadow to hit the moon or the moons shadow to hit earth, it needs to first, be in one of the two points in it's orbit where the moon is neither higher nor lower than the earth, and second, the time of year where those points are lined up with the sun. The tilt of the earth wouldn't do anything to the shadow, just as tilting a ball in the beam of a flashlight wouldn't change anything. Kind of an arbitrary mistake but I figured you'd appreciate it sense you do get pretty technical in your videos.

Mythicals are not available in the game, you have to get them by an event. A few of them lost that exclusivity after a few generations but still are mythicals for some reason.

I'd like to know why it wasn't turned to fairy type, it has several things going for it that make it an obvious choice. It's pink, moonlight and moonblast are fairy type, fairies seem related to the moon like Cleffairy and like they get power from it, hence why a moon stone evolves cleffairy, it would also balance the duology it has with Darkrai. They're supposed to be a duo, opposing each other, but Darkrai has a clear advantage, it's immune to psychic and is super effective on psychic, if Cresselia became fairy type it would feel more balanced, getting stab from fairy moves, it's not weak to Dakrai and while psychic won't hurt it fairy can, meanwhile Darkrai can learn other moves such as focus blast, thunder, or even ghost attacks which would be super effective on Cresselia. Are they planning a new form for Cresselia? Is it because it is only receiving a small percent of the moons power since it's only a crescent moon?

When I was younger, before I played Pokemon, Darkrai was my favorite Pokemon (after seeing the movie, it was Charizard and Umbreon before that). This was mostly due to it being cool, and having a great color scheme (I'm a big fan of the monochrome with a little bit of color aesthetic). Plus, the Darkrai movie is the only Pokemon movie that I think is actually quite good. It's fallen pretty far as far as my favorites, being somewhere in the top 50 or so.
