Robert Durst stands trial for the 2000 murder of friend Susan Berman. The trial began just before the pandemic in early 2020 and was halted two weeks in. The restart happened on May 17, 2021, with the same jury panel.
The defendant’s wife Kathleen McCormack Durst went missing in 1982. Evidence and testimony would show that Robert Durst killed her, the prosecutor said. The defendant allegedly told Berman it was an accident and asked her for help. She served as his alibi.
Berman, 55, was shot execution-style at her Beverly Hills home in 2000, and the prosecution suggested that it was because of what she knew about Kathleen’s death and disappearance. As defense lawyer Dick DeGuerin would have it, however, Durst is innocent. His client only came across the body, panicked, and fled, he maintained.

It’s crazy that he’s been in front of at least 2 dead bodies (and sadly his first wife as well)… but he didn’t kill any of them. He thinks people are so stupid. A true narcissist thinking you’re the smartest. Gaslighting narcissistic sociopath.

Have the victim's families been interviewed about this case to find out what they want? I'm curious. People are guessing that they want this trial to go on and for him to go to prison and be found guilty. Most families want that but we don't know unless they've said so.

It's sad to see him struggling with Llewyn while he is clearly getting close to death,but it really burns me up that he thinks his personal superiority is gonna allow him to out think and to out talk reality.

I thought he was much more direct with his answers yesterday. He was in the room when they talked about time limits, but also once Lewin cut out three rebuttal witnesses, the judge gave him some leeway on the time.

All his so called friends putting money above doing the right thing ,and the initial jury finding him not guilty is still unbelievable, especially when he admitted murdering and disposing of the body . Jarecki did the job the police should have done , but to be fair Durst got himself attested, there was no reason for him to do the jinx tv series apart from self serving reasons .

Exactly the way Juan Martinez handled Jodi Arias. She and Durst are so skilled at lying, that if you skipped around their lies are harder to stick with, harder to remember what they had previously said. They have it all worked out like a story, but if it’s not in a specific order they will mess up. As Durst has.

No, EACH QUESTION FOR 7 DAYS NOW, is to impeach him. It's so redundant and no proof, evidence, of ANYTHING, weak motive , and if jury follows the actual law, and doesn't judge him on past things he wasn't even arrested for and acquitted on, he should be let off again. This was silly bringing this back with only his lies. Who cares about the MOVIE? None of this is PROOF OF ANYTHING.

A few people saying he's taking so long to answer questions. He's reading the questions on the tablet after the lawyer says it, as he supposedly can't hear well at all. Nothing to do with stalling and thinking about his answers

He can hear ' hes bright as a button and he remembers.He cant look the guy in the eye because they are talking about his best friend who he shared secrets with and I believe he looks ashamed of leaving her body alone and that's why he wrote the note to the police.
