sure bud, people have famously put down the invention of writing because it did nothing for humanity right? Best example of what you're talking about is some quotes we don't know actually existed or not allegedly attributed to some philosophers back around ancient Greece times and their message was more "people will forget things easier if we write things down instead of repeating them orally" and even then it wasn't a popular concept because writing systems had existed for as long as 3200 BC. It makes even less sense to consider what you're saying when you realize that the first book written considered a novel is from the 11th century. Writing has existed since 3200 BC, and yet the first book written entirely as fiction for entertainment purposes was around 4000 years after. Going by your logic that would mean for about 4000 years people just ignored what was written down despite the fact it would've been more nonfiction than anything else

The one at 16:18 was actually pretty good, if you look at it upside down you can see they are giving flowers because the person passed but they were all turned away when that person was still alive and struggling. It basically conveys that "no one cares until you die". Maybe it was not executed the best in some people's eyes and call me cringe all you want but actually liked the way it was displayed.

i had a cringe phase, around 13-14 and i remember seeing a lot of those pictures. one of those in particular was showing two parents going away from each other, and a child was hanging on to the two of them as to not fall inside a hole, and in that hole there were two people taking drugs and stuff. at the time my mom and my dad were getting a divorce and me and my siblings didn't take the news too well. i remember sending this picture to my mom thinking it was deep as shit among the memories i wish i could forget, this is one of the top ones.

This reminds of me of when I took visual journalism as an elective in college. We had to illustrate our drawings based off the topic in the articles that we wrote and published. @Elisa Castro no it's not, it's really not. It's a mental illness that has serious affect on people. Just because society is ignorant and has a close-minded view of serious issues like this. Doesn't mean you should let it bleed into it, and brush these things off. So no, maybe next time? Think before you speak. I have depression, and it's more than just being "bummed out". It's so painful and hard, and is damaging. Depression is serious, and it's society's fault for being ableist. But, guess what. You can change that attitude and work towards being more understanding and open-minded about this stuff. But whatever.
