After recommending the Simplex to my nephew last summer and seeing how well it worked for a newbie I ordered a Anfibio Multi with 2 coils. It is the 4th detector I have owned and it took a bit of time to get my programs set but once that was done hunting was easy. I hunt in 5 tone most of the time and switch to deep mode to help identify iffy signals so I love deep mode as a way to examine a target tone and numbers. I have had great success with stock coil and the elliptical kr24 which makes the detector lighter and far more quite but lacks discrimination of the stock coil. Mush to learn about this detector and I love using it. Thanks for your video

That pound was modern , that modern you can actually walk into a shop and spend it lol yeah I think the simplex depth indication bar is set up as a pound sized coin at 9 inches at full depth on the vdi. The shovel is absolutely solid, my only grip about it is the numbers are lasers on instead of engraved so after a few digs they actually come off, and the t handle is very slippy when wet , I bought some bmx grips for it , fit like a glove and no more slipping. Onto the next 👍🏻

Great video Adam....I found the Anfibio very average compared to my Nox...however I stuck a NEL tornado coil on the Anfibio and it turned machine into a right beast... great on pasture and super deep.

Really interesting video as always Adam…seems like you’re starting to get the hang of the Anfibio….I should imagine it takes some playing with…I like your comparison with the Simplex too. Sadly won’t be at Detectival but am sure you’ll be in high demand. Good to see you my friend, Marcus

Great video Adam. I find using the nokta shovel, I tend to dig small holes! I’ve seen people using the antfibio, pulling the coil back over a target to pinpoint at the top edge? Might work? Keep up the good work 👍👍

i not seen anyone talking about the battery on this detector yet can you buy extra battery to use deep mode longer?
@DTEKTSUSSEX
@DTEKTSUSSEX 2 жыл бұрын
There is a separate battery pack available for the Anfibio. To be honest, the stock battery is pretty good...even in deep mode...but the option is there 😊👍

Nice video! I won an Anfibio recently and I’m still getting my head around it. I tried the deep mode with your settings but found that after two to three hours it had used 3/4 of the battery! Think I’ll stick to using 3 tone mode for a bit longer. Good advice with the comparison to the Simplex too. 👍🏻

If you were in 5khz that is what used your battery. The lower the khz the faster it uses the battery.

Hi! I've never used the Anfibio in a forest but for the meadow I'd suggest giving 99 tone a try. I've had the most success with that mode on grass land 😃😎👍

I'm new to detecting having picked up a Nokta Macro Simplex, but I've heard a lot about how you shouldn't clean the coins you find. This doesn't really make sense to me though... you have to clear off the dirt obviously, and new scratches are going to happen in that process. So, what is the best compromise? Lightly cleaning with a toothbrush and filtered water after the majority of the dirt has been removed manually?
@DTEKTSUSSEX
@DTEKTSUSSEX 3 жыл бұрын
Hi James! Great question! I'll hold my hands up and say that I'm not an expert on coin cleaning but essentially what you do with them will depend on the coin. The condition, the composition etc. The idea behind leaving coins dirty is essentially because the soil has preserved the coin for so long that removing it may expose the coin to modern irritants like airborne pollution etc. Generally, if you're going to clean it, use water to gently get as much dirt off as possible first. Try not to use anything abrasive. Once done you can examine the coin for markings and damage etc. I would then simply use Google to find out the best way to clean further. Look at many sites for advice...if one method comes up more than others it'll usually be the best. Posting a pic on a detecting Facebook group may also be helpful. I hope that helps in some small way, James. As I said, I'm not an expert on coin cleaning in any way and I'm learning as I go. That's one of the great things about the hobby...you never stop learning! Good luck and happy hunting! 😃😎👍

How can the depth of the target be detected on the device?
@DTEKTSUSSEX
@DTEKTSUSSEX Жыл бұрын
It bases the returning signal on the target being a coin about an inch across. Depth reading isn't an exact science but it can be a useful guide 👍

Hi, is this an expensive detector, will it find old coins and stuff. i want to find something old, thanks
@DTEKTSUSSEX
@DTEKTSUSSEX 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Lee. It's currently Nokta Makro's top of the range model (specialist machines notwithstanding...) but the Simplex will still find you the old stuff. You have to walk over it to find it with either machine. Get to know your Simplex first. Then, when you're an expert at that, have a look at this or the Kruzer 😃😎👍

Here is a strange story for you fella, last September we the Celtic Stags were given permission to go to virgin ground across the river from Strata Abbey Tregaron, we all have different machines from basic to the professional, the ground was similar to that in your video, the point I am trying to say is that nobody on any machine had any high clear tones they were 3 or 4 like a needle scratch, we pulled out 33 coins in the first half hour and that was just the start, you could of played with your detector all day but still if it did not read 3, 4 on your screen you had nothing, my bronze came in at 3, my first coin the same, we had coins galore, zoomorphic bits, roman pan handles as you may of seen in the press, can you explain why this came about as everyone was banging their heads, we all know and learn the tones for different types of material which give pritty high tones, but 3, 4, 0, even, it changed the game.
@DTEKTSUSSEX
@DTEKTSUSSEX 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Anthony, That certainly is a tale! Congrats on the amazing finds! In terms of the numbers, I've heard of some similar finds coming up low but that is a lot in one area. Perhaps there were iron deposits interfering with the signals? Just a guess...otherwise I couldn't say what it would have been. 😃😎👍
