She didn't appear until the 4th episode 3 years after this. These were the first kids. Though Ida grew to be a taller kid than Caitlyn, I think she's not older by much. I know Caitlyn's birth year is 1971 and she was always short for her age, I still don't know the birth years of Ida and Cookie. And Caitlyn and Cookie were in an episode together that came years later, I think Cookie was a slightly taller kid that flunked. You can compare their heights when they're standing talking to each other, walking together.

@@andrecanton7591Ida is Caitlyn. Most of the character names from this early series didn’t make it into the following years. I grew up watching this show on Saturdays afternoons

I appreciate this. I am currently watching the entire franchise. I've been wondering about this series. I also couldn't find Degrassi High Season 2, or Degrassi School's Out. Well i couldn't find them on this account. I like this account :) I appreciate this account ❤ i hope you can get those 2. Also, there is a Degrassi Talks series ? Imma need to check that out too.

Cookie and Ida are some tough young businesswomen lol! Those are some pretty mean trashmen though, just throwing a little girl´s doll out like that, while she´s right next to them! I know that they have a busy job, but they could at least have asked her if it was hers!

This actresses name is Zoe Newman (Ida) she was not a continuing part of the cast of Degrassi. Not Caitlyn and not LD

@@johnnythekid4601 oh well then she was Spike's age. Amanda Stepto was born July 31, 1970. She was the oldest cast member in grade 8. So right there with Spike, Zoe Newman and Cookie could've been in that grade 8 class. Look how old Alex Yankou was in grade 7. He aged over a year from Pete Riley in grade 6 to Alex and didn't get in the same grade with Caitlin, Wheels, Lucy. I think Ida and Cookie might not have wanted to act anymore. Linda and Kit might know.

More likely parents. Their kids are just graduating college now. This is my sister generation (Gen X) and most of them aren’t grandparents yet.

@119Agent if she is only a year older than Lisa/Caitlin why was Ida such a taller kid? I would think a 3 year difference but Stacy Mistysin was always short

I know someone who is 54 and has great-grandchildren. So it's possible they have grandchildren...
