I went through EVERY other "grilled sunflower" video looking for how to eat this! Thank you for answering the most important possible questions, not cutting the video after each bite, and also mentioning how there weren't shells to worry about.

My wife and I just tried a sun flower. I think we might have picked it too young. The kernels were much smaller on ours and had a bad bitter taste if you ate any of the plant. But if you just ate the kernel itself it had a good flavor. We were wondering what type of sunflower you had.
